We had a great weekend visiting Emaus Comunidad for church and going to La Paz waterfall gardens. We even got to get up close with a toucan!

Today was a full day of classes and fun. During our Spanish composition class, our professor brought mangos to class for us to enjoy. On the mango, we put lime, salt, and a sauce called “salsa Lizano” which is kind of like Worcestershire sauce. Then I had a great time sharing a devotional with this group of university guys. Meanwhile, Sydney had a spa day with the missionary kids as part of their fun Friday.

Hoy fue un día lleno de clases y diversión. Durante nuestra clase de composición, nuestra profesora trajo mangos a clase para compartir. Al mango le pusimos limón, sal y una salsa llamada “Salsa Lizano”, que es algo parecida a la salsa Worcestershire. Luego pasé un excelente tiempo compartiendo un devocional con este grupo de universitarios. Mientras tanto, Sydney tuvo un día de spa con las hijas de los misioneros.

EXCITING ANNOUNCEMENT…

We are headed to El Salvador!!!

After many years of waiting, we are officially cleared to head to the field on May 6! We are so thankful for all God has done to prepare us over the last several years. Through many trials and triumphs, He has sustained us and given us peace and purpose in this waiting season. His timing is perfect. His promises are secure. His faithfulness never fails.

Thank you to everyone who has supported us and encouraged us over the years, we covet your prayers more than ever going forward!

We are still in need of monthly support on the field. So we ask that you would pray about if the Lord would have you partner with us and His work in El Salvador on a monthly basis. What a powerful weekend at the Southern Latin District! We reconnected with pastors that have supported us for years and met many wonderful new pastors, leaders, and even made new friendships with other missionaries. Thank you SDL for the opportunity to share about how God is moving in El Salvador!

¡Qué fin de semana tan poderoso en el Distrito Latino del Sur! Nos reconectamos con pastores que nos han apoyado por muchos años y conocimos a muchos nuevos pastores, líderes, y hasta formamos nuevas amistades con otros misioneros. We had an amazing time with Pastors John and Nury at Christian Center Revive. We talked about our mission work with their church family, helped out with their talent show, and enjoyed sampling foods from different countries at their missions fair. Their heart for missions is unmatched!

Tuvimos un tiempo increíble con los pastores John y Nury en el Centro Cristiano Revive. Hablamos sobre nuestro trabajo misionero con su Iglesia, ayudamos en su show de talentos y disfrutamos probando comidas de diferentes países en su feria misionera. ¡La pasión de su iglesia por las misiones es incomparable!
