ABOUT COMMUNION OF EVANGELICAL EPISCOPAL CHURCHES (CEEC) OF SOUTH SUDAN
The Communion of Evangelical Episcopal Churches (CEEC) is an Anglican charismatic church formed in 1994 largely as a result of the Convergence Movement. CEEC is a global Communion and member of the one holy Catholic and Apostolic Church celebrating the convergence of the Sacramental, Evangelical and Charismatic streams of th
e historical Church in the Celtic and Anglican traditions. Communion of Evangelical Episcopal Churches (CEEC) was established in South Sudan on the 19th January 2013 during a glorious event presided over by Bishop Robert of Jerusalem and first Missionary Bishop to South Sudan. Over the past years, the church successfully achieved several Spiritual programs including Church plantations and short Mission programs in South Sudan. The Missionary Diocese of South Sudan Head Office is in Yambio Town the capital of Western Equatoria State in the Republic of South Sudan. The Church is officially registered as Faith Based Organization at the Bureau of Religious Affairs, Republic of South Sudan in accordance with New Sudan Non-Governmental Organization Act 2003. Communion of Evangelical Episcopal Churches (CEEC) South Sudan is currently operating in Western and Central Equatoria States in South Sudan and is so far planted four churches and more progress are made to plant other four churches in 2015. A weekly report in South Sudan indicated that, the congregation is growing daily with support from our Evangelism and Mission Department. In Mathew 28:18 – 20 says, And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. “Go” therefore, and make disciples of all the nations, baptize them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Teach them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and I am with you always, even to the end of the age, Amen. The above great command enhances Communion of Evangelical Episcopal Churches especially in South Sudan to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ through the Department of Evangelism and Mission. At our time, God has cold us to be the good ambassadors of Jesus Christ though Mission.
