Have you been sinning and feel that God would forgive you anymore?
Here we are going to look at God's grace and mercy for the sinners.
And we shall begin by looking at the two types of sinners.
1. Righteous sinners
Some one may ask himself how can a sinner be righteous?
Whoever practices righteousness is righteous....( 1 John 3:7
What then is righteousness?
My tongue shall speak of your words for all your commandments are righteous ( Psalms 119:142) we can now understand that God's law is righteous.
Thus the text of 1 John 3:17 will read as:
They that practice righteousness (the law) are righteous and are identified by their obedience to the law.
Does that mean commandment keepers are not sinners?
No, for all have sinned and fall short of God's glory ( Romans 3:23)
For a just ( righteous) man falls seven times and rises up again but the wicked shall fall into mischief ( proverbs 24:16)
The righteous sinners when they fall ( sin) and realized that they have fallen they rises up( confess) again, that is what the Bible says a just man falls seven times and rises up again.
2. The wicked sinners
The wicked sinners when they fall ( sin) they find it hard to keep God's law and therefore they forsake God's law ( Psalms 119:53)
# Righteous sinners rely not on their own strength to keep the law rather they live by faith I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me ( Philippian 4:13)
God is ready to welcome us back when we get convicted of our sins and repented because he is faithful and just abiding in steadfast love towards humanity
For so love the world that he gave us his only begotten son that whoever believe in him shall not perish but have everlasting life ( John 3:16)
