Act Now Youth Foundation

Act Now Youth Foundation Our goal is to “Desist, resist our tribal, gender and race differences to separate us from what God has called us to do”.
(2)

God called us as youth in the church to rise up in demonstrating the love of Jesus Christ through our acts of hope in rebuilding our communities’ spiritually as young men and women. 1.Act Now Youth Foundation (A.N.Y.F) is a program initiated by the youth from Calvary chapel Cush Nimule in South Sudan as result of observing the hopelessness and moral degeneration in our communities causing division

s, hatred and conflicts among s the communities’ based on ethnic line as a result which has led into too many unending conflicts and problems affecting the youth. It should be noted that, majority of the victims of these wars are the youth since are left alone and redundant making them vulnerable to be influence by people to do wrongs in the communities. As young people in the church, we strongly believe that, when we unite and commit ourselves to activities that engage the youth together, we can restore hope, love and unity among the tribes of South Sudan.

2.As youth, can achieve this even beyond and this can only be done through proclaiming the Word of God and also sharing with those in need. Through the word of God our aim is to use the young people to change the mindset of the people to build a better community where the love for God and one another prevails. Statistically, youth make up to 75% of the total population in South Sudan, yet there are limited programs for youth engagement more especially in the churches, by the government or the communities. This has re****ed their progress in the different dimensions of life (Spiritual, Physical, Social and the intellectual) Luke 2:52, and Christ increased in wisdom (intellectually) and in stature (physically) and in favor with God (Spiritually) and man (Socially). Therefore, physical involvement of the youth can bring them together to overcome their diversity and tribal differences and by this we can bring transformation, peace, stability and the love of Christ among the people of South Sudan.

3.In Psalm 133:1 “Behold, how good and pleasant it is when brothers dwell in unity”. Act Now Youth Foundation (A.N.Y.F) is a program designed for youth engagement since leaving them on their own allows them get involved in unproductive activities like gambling, drugs and other criminal behavior. As the scripture states in 1st Peter 2, “An idol mind is the devil’s workshop” hence, programs like community outreaches, charitable work, Evangenlization and conferences, leadership empowerment programs, training on discipleship &character building this a holistic efforts that impacts the whole man. By teaching and involving the youth of today in the ministry of proclaiming the gospel and sharing (helping) with those in need will make them servant leaders that will help rebuilding their societies spiritually, socially, physically and economically and strengthen the bond of ‘togetherness’ following the slogan “Better Together for transformation of lives” among the youth of South Sudan.

4.Often, like in any other countries where youth inclusion in activities has yielded a positive result on the people and the Nation, Act Now Youth Foundation holds strong view that the youth in South Sudan will in the same manner work tirelessly to help their country. When the youth of the Nation having their minds and hearts open great things will happen when they join hands together, share ideas, encourage one another, build unity, love and trust among each other. We have ourselves experienced a lot of challenges, especially in our upbringing, parental guidance, counseling, culture and tradition, selfish ambition by mentors and poor leadership. Thus, the time has come for us to open each other’s eyes for a better world by enabling the youth to find meaning of life Through Christ which marked the birth and creation of Act Now Youth Foundation [A.N.Y.F].

Empowering Youth Leadership in South Sudan Through Humanitarian and Community Associations

South Sudan, the world’s youngest nation, faces numerous challenges, including political instability, economic hardship, and limited access to education. However, its greatest asset is its youth, who make up over 70% of the population. Empowering young leaders through humanitarian efforts and community associations is crucial for sustainable development, peacebuilding, and social progress. This article explores the role of youth leadership in South Sudan and how structured initiatives can turn potential into action.

Young people in South Sudan possess energy, creativity, and resilience. However, many lack opportunities for education, employment, and meaningful civic engagement. Effective youth leadership can:

Promote Peace & Reconciliation:Youth can bridge ethnic and political divides through dialogue and collaborative projects.

Drive Economic Growth: Entrepreneurship and skills training can reduce unemployment and foster self-reliance.
Improve Governance:Engaging youth in decision-making ensures policies reflect their needs.

Enhance Community Development:Grassroots initiatives in health, education, and sanitation can transform local areas.

In this world, there is a lot of suffering, a lot of betrayal, su***de, and scamming, making things worse for everyone. Sometimes we feel like the world is ending just because of some few encounters with ungrateful people or those who have destroyed everything in our minds. But I want to let you know that most of the things we encounter are meant to make us stronger and help us understand our surroundings. However life takes you, su***de should never be an option. Be blessed.

Engaging young people in various activities can be beneficial in many ways. It can help to develop their skills, build their confidence and self-esteem, and provide opportunities for socialization and personal growth. Additionally, keeping young people busy with positive activities can help to reduce the likelihood of them engaging in negative behaviors such as drug use or delinquency.

30/07/2023

Effective leaders must be humble and servant-minded, they also need to be able to communicate effectively and inspire others to follow their lead. By striking the right balance between humility and confidence, leaders can create a culture of trust, respect, and collaboration that allows everyone to thrive.

7 SIGNS OF FALSE PROPHESTS

Matthew 24:24 "For false christs and false prophets will rise and show great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect."

One of the things that the Bible consistently warns believers strongly aganist is the rise of the false Christ (false anointed) & false Prophets. This is a very serious subject that Christ Jesus & later, the Apostles spent most of their time on earth teaching.

The scripture above has been treated with less relevance in our time because we have accepted anyone and anything that has the name of Jesus in it. People have gone to the extent of defending wrong using scriptures out of context. Listen, if there were no false Prophets in our time today, then Jesus Himself was going to be false because He prophesied that false Prophets would rise. And if you believe Jesus, then you must believe His message too.

Listen, if there were no false Prophets in our time today, then Jesus Himself was going to be false because He prophesied that false Prophets would rise. And if you believe Jesus, then you must believe His message too.

What then are the signs?

1. Wrong Christian Fruit - Mathew 7:15 - 20
Matthew 7:20 "Therefore by their fruits you will know them."

The first and Cardinal litmus test for a true prophet sent by God is the ability to bear fruit that are consistent with scripture. Being spiritual is possessing the fruit of the spirit. Beyond the fasting, the praying and the prophesying, possessing the fruit of the spirit as highlighted in Galatians Chapter 5 verse 22 and 23 is key to true spirituality.

2. Not Presenting Jesus in character - 1 Cor. 11:1 - 4
1 Corinthians 11:4 "Every man praying or prophesying, having [his] head covered, dishonors his head."

Understanding this phrase in context will require you to get back to verse 3 of the same scripture:
Verse 3 "But I want you to know that the head of every man is Christ, the head of woman [is] man, and the head of Christ [is] God."

So in this case, the Head here is Christ. Therefore, the interpretation of this verse would be, don't hide Christ in your prayers and prophesying. Any act of prophesying or praying that does not reveal Christ is hypocritical. The phrases made by many men of God such as, "I am the so and so.... You will know that am the prophet" and so on, end up covering Christ and revealing the man to the people. A true prophet will always reveal the nature and character of Christ to His congregation.

3. Speaking things that never come to pass - Deut. 18:20 - 23

There is a difference between mind prediction and prophesying. The Spirit of God is consistent with God's word. I have not seen a single prophet of God in the Bible prophesying under the Spirit of Truth and ends up speaking a lie. If you understand contextual presentation of the Bible, you will agree with this. God Himself gives us a consistent check and balance for the prophetic ministry.

4. The love for titles - Mark 8:27
Jesus was particular about being known. He preferred people to have a misconception about Him than to be make a name for Himself. But what we see in the churches today is totally the opposite. We have people behind the pulpit who are so obsessed with titles & if you make a mistake to call them "brother", the rebuke that you will receive will make a resounding noise in hell. A true servant of God does not need validity from man. Title does not signal the anointing. You can be carrying the heaviest of all titles and still be fake and empty.

5. They do no have the ability to feed the flock - Ezekiel 34:2 - 4
A prophet who can not consistently feed his flock with the undiluted word of God is fake. The first mandate of being a shepherd over God's people is that you must have the ability to feed them with the word of God.

Jeremiah 3:15 "And I will give you shepherds according to My heart, who will feed you with knowledge and understanding."

If you can't feed the flock of God, then you're not qualified to sherpherd over them. A prophet of God has value for the word of God beyond manifestations.

6. They make people forget the name of the Lord - Jeremiah 23:26, 27

Jeremiah 23:27" who try to make My people forget My name by their dreams which everyone tells his neighbor, as their fathers forgot My name for Baal."

If you're a prophet and you have introduced God's people to other things rather than the name of the Lord, then check yourself! In everything, God's people are suppose to look upon the Name of the LORD for solutions - anything other than this, is false!

7. They teach false doctrines - John 8:32

Only the truth taught accurately, received and engaged will set you free.

Investing in today’s youth is necessary in growing the body of Christ. Teaching young people in the church to grow in their relationship with the Lord prepares them to serve Christ in all they do. As a result, this nurtures the congregation and allows the church to flourish.

Serving young people cannot only prepare them to become future leaders, but also allow them to contribute to the church. This is seen many times in the Bible, as God often used young people to do great things. For example, God used Timothy to pastor and lead the Ephesian church when he was a teenager. 1 Timothy 4:12 says, “Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity.”

In addition, there is much to be learned from the faith of a child. Matthew 18:2-4 says, “He called a little child to him, and placed the child among them. And he said: ‘Truly I tell you, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. Therefore, whoever takes the lowly position of this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.’” Because of God’s heart for young people, it is important to recognize their value in today’s church.

Wrangles within churches bad reflection on true Christianity

Once the abode of peace, love and tranquility, the church has become something else. With what is happening all around us, the church has become the new ground for hate, wrangles and the occasional physical fights.

The church is the embodiment of Jesus Christ who preached humility and forgiveness; attributes that some church goers and leaders have chosen to atrophy. While Jesus was incensed by merchants plying their trade in churches, the modern day church, especially, is more of a money minding venture instead of a place of spiritual nourishment in line with Christian teachings.

When some of the established churches, once revered become the source of wrangles, Christians must pause, re-examine themselves and wonder where the rain started beating them. They must ask themselves what they are doing wrong to allow Satan take over the kingdom of God, with them as agents.

Thirst for power and the privilege to control church funds have combined to create factions within churches that have, hitherto, operated as single units since Christianity took root in South Sudan . some of the oldest churches in the country, are experiencing leadership wrangles that cause them to deviate from their core mandate of spreading the gospel of love, peace and unity.

When shepherds of the flock engage in fist fights and recriminations over management of funds and the running of church sponsored projects, what is expected of ordinary church goers to whom the church leadership should present the perfect role models? Granted, there might be some in positions of leadership within churches who thrive on corruption, but should that be justification for breaking away from the main church to form another that could still fall victim to the vice that led to its formation?

Two places that God dwells
============================

Isaiah 57:15 - "For this is what the high and exalted One says— he who lives forever, whose name is holy: "I live in a high and holy place, but also with the one who is contrite and lowly in spirit, to revive the spirit of the lowly and to revive the heart of the contrite."

Scriptures shows us two particular places that God can be found. He calls these places as His dwelling places.

1. High and Holy Place - This speaks of an elevated sacred place. A place that has been set apart as His only dwelling place. A High and holy place is one that is pure and reserved for only God. Usually, the Bible use this rendition to speak of the Holy of Holies which is heaven.

But we have the second place that the Bible refer to as also being the dwelling place of God. This is not heaven but a place here on earth.

2. The heart of him who is humble - the Bible use two significant words to describe the nature of the heart into which he dwells.

a) CONTRITE: the Hebrew word is "dakkâ" meaning crushed. The first state of the heart or an individual that is qualified to host God is the ability to acknowledge inability and inadequacy in the absence of Jesus. A contrite heart is one that has passed the stage of self glorification, satisfaction and self aggrandization.

b) LOWLY: the Hebrew word is "shâphâl" * which is rendered in the king James as "humbled".

You see brethren, pride and arrogance is proof that a man has no God. A proud man or woman is never fought by demons or Satan, he is fought by God Himself.

James 4:6 But He gives more grace. Therefore He says: [" God resists the proud,] [But gives grace to the humble."]

1 Peter 5:5 Likewise you younger people, submit yourselves to [your] elders. Yes, all of [you] be submissive to one another, and be clothed with humility, for [" God resists the proud,] [But] [gives grace to the humble."]

Blessings 🙏

Another Gospel
===============

The fact that it sounds like "Good news" does not necessarily mean it is the good news you ought to hear. Infact Apostle Paul puts it beautifully like this...

Galatians 1:6 "I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel:"

Paul does not deny the fact that it is GOSPEL (Good news) but that it isn't accurate and not in line with scripture. Sadly, we have so may who have taken to the pulpit to disseminate another" gospel".

What is another gospel?

Any teaching or preaching that takes away Jesus out of the equation is another gospel. Jesus has to be the central theme of any meeting and any sermon. Any seemingly "good" news that offers solution by sidelining the name of Jesus is "another" gospel. The preaching that exalts materials far above the name of Jesus is another gospel.

Acts 4:18 "So they called them and commanded them not to speak at all nor TEACH in the NAME of JESUS."

The devil does not have so much problem with many preachers, he only has a problem with those who are preaching & and teaching in the name f Jesus. The brethren were not stopped from teaching, the condition was that they could continue to teach but they wanted them to change the theme of their sermons by removing Jesus out of the equation.

May are doing ministry today and the devil is not even bothered because they carry another gospel. You can even tell from some of some of the them that we see on posters, that Jesus will not be preached in this meeting.

Let's get back to the Gospel! Jesus is the message.
