FAITH comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ. - Rom 10:17.

So then, listen to and study the WORD OF GOD, the Bible!

GOD IS ABLE TO GUIDE YOU PRECISELY

The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him, and said, “Behold! The Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world! This is He of whom I said, ‘After me comes a Man who is preferred before me, for He was before me.’ I did not know Him; but that He should be revealed to Israel, therefore I came baptizing with water." (John 1:29-31 NKJV)

John the Baptist was expecting the Messiah, but he did not know who He was, yet Jesus and John were related but all along John did not know that His very own relative was the Christ! But John did one thing, He busied Himself with the mission God had called him to, preparing the way for the Messiah, ardently preaching repentance and that the Kingdom of God had come, baptising men symbolic of their repentance, doing His work, that Christ may be revealed! For he said, "I did not know Him; but that He should be revealed to Israel, therefore I came baptizing with water." (John 1:31 NKJV)

- What are you doing so that right person, place or situation can be revealed? Are you busying yourself looking for it or doing the will of God that leads to its revelation? It was necessary for John to go baptising that Christ may be revealed, without which he would not have known that his very own relative was the Messiah.
- Sometimes that person, place or situation may be very close to you, but unless you start doing what you are supposed to be doing, it may not be revealed to you. Ask the Lord to reveal to you what you should be doing and embark on it ardently! As you do so, God will reveal that which is right for you!

And John bore witness, saying, “I saw the Spirit descending from heaven like a dove, and He remained upon Him. I did not know Him, but He who sent me to baptize with water said to me, ‘Upon whom you see the Spirit descending, and remaining on Him, this is He who baptizes with the Holy Spirit.’ And I have seen and testified that this is the Son of God.” (John 1:23, 32-34 NKJV)

God is able to guide you precisely so that you do not miss His divine will.

SPEAK YE UNTO THE ROCK

The children of Israel were bitter with Moses and Aaron (Numbers 20:2), for bringing them out of captivity, into the wilderness, where there was no water, on their way to the promised land.

So God told Moses and Aaron, to take the rod, gather the children of Israel, and to “Speak ye unto the rock before their eyes; and it shall give forth his water” (KJV); another translation puts it this way, “tell the rock before their eyes to give forth its water” (AMP).
Literally, Moses and Aaron were commanded to 'speak to' or 'tell' the rock! Like speaking to person who can hear!

Are you in a spiritual or physical wilderness on your way to your promised land? Are there situations that have proved impossible or looked difficult? Are you going to wait to die of thirst in the desert, or are you going to begin speaking to the rock??? Begin to speak to those rocks, those seemingly unresponsive situations or things, in that wilderness, to respond to you needs! You cannot afford to die in the wilderness before you reach your promised land.

Just speak! Tell the rock before your eyes to give forth its water!

JUDGE NOT THAT YOU BE NOT JUDGED (Matt 7:1)

Joshua (22:10-34) Tells how the Gadites, Reubenites and half tribe of Manasseh built an altar apart from that which was in the land, and Israel assumed it was for idolatry and were offended and prepared to go to war against them. But little did they know it was still unto the LORD that it was built.

How many times are we quick to judge the actions of fellow brethren without bothering to find out why they did it. Our assumptions might be totally wrong! Do not be so quick to judge another's action, find out why they did what they did or said what they said. For 'The Mighty One, God, the Lord! The Mighty One, God, the Lord! He knows'... and may you also know. (Joshua 22:22?
