Our new saving groups receives saving materials and COVID-19 materials to ease them from conducting meeting while observing the SOPs provided by the ministry of health. We now pray for the remaining groups who aren't able to be covered with this due to Inadquate fund. Pray with DOL for more support of this kind so that we can be able to extend this support to the remaining saving members.

Following the food aid distribution, there was positive feedback from the beneficiaries. But still there was evident need for more support to meet the needs of the high number of vulnerable persons in the settlements especially now with the reduced food rations.

DOL is working to create awareness about COVID-19 through radio programs and adverts. Messages have been produced in Bari language that are aired daily for 2 months via Spirit FM in Koboko. Posters in Bari from the Ministry of Health were printed and posted to public places and others given to beneficiaries.

DOL COVID-19 Emergency programs to create awareness and prevention practices to minimize the contracting of the virus in the 2 project locations. In both locations of Kerwa and Imvepi 110 hand washing containers and 5550 bars of laundry soap were distributed. 710 beneficiaries were targeted to benefit from laundry bar soap, 735 from food package (clergy, staff and most vulnerable persons) and 77 pastors and 33 institutions, public places like markets, police and government offices from branded handwashing containers with stands.
