Appreciation for the Formation of Church Development Committee
We would like to take this opportunity to extend our heartfelt appreciation to all who took part in the formation of the new church development committee at Reconciliation Evangelical Lutheran Church. As our pastors and elders sat together and reflected on the journey of our church, it became clear that we are facing many challenges—especially in the area of financial support. Yet, with faith and hope in Christ, we believe that every challenge is an opportunity for growth and renewal.
Under the guidance of Pastor Rechaid Wani, the pastor in charge, and Pastor James , this new committee has been carefully selected and assigned the important role of leading the church toward growth and stability. Their task is not just to manage, but to envision and suggest ideas that can help develop the church spiritually, physically, and socially.
Pastor Rechaid Wani has encouraged the congregation to continue in the spirit of volunteerism. He reminded us that serving the church is a sacred duty and a blessing. When we offer our time, energy, and skills freely for the work of God, we honor Him and build His kingdom on earth.
Pastor James also spoke powerfully to the church, reminding every member that this church belongs to them. Though we may not have external support, we should not lose hope. We are the owners of this ministry, and we should rise with faith, unity, and love. He encouraged everyone to contribute, even if it is something small. Giving to the church is not a burden—it is a blessing. As he rightly said, "Whoever gives receives a blessing, but whoever only receives without giving does not receive a blessing." This is a powerful reminder of God’s principle of sowing and reaping.
Pastor James also gave wise counsel to the committee members and congregation at large. He emphasized the importance of working together, supporting one another, and loving one another.
He called upon everyone to take the task seriously
