*ETERNAL LIFE*

Scripture Reading: John 3:14-17
17
John 3:14 And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up:
John 3:15 That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.
John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
John 3:17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
Memory Verse: I John 5:11
I John 5:11 And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.
*Introduction*: What is the reward of the Saints? What will we receive
for following the Son of God?
*Question 1*. Mortal life was given at the Creation in Genesis 1. Who is the source of all mortal life that we see on earth? Acts 17:24-25
Acts 17:24 God that made the world and all things therein, seeing that he is Lord of heaven and earth, dwelleth not in temples made with hands;
[25] Neither is worshipped with men's hands, as though he needed any thing, seeing he giveth to all life, and breath, and all things;
*Question 2*. Who is declared to be the author of life? Psalm 36:5, 9.
Psalms 36:5 Thy mercy, O LORD, is in the heavens; and thy faithfulness reacheth unto the clouds.
[9]For with thee is the fountain of life: in thy light shall we see light.
*Question 3*. How does Jesus relate life to Himself? Is Jesus speaking of mortal life or eternal life? John 6:35.
John 3:35 The Father loveth the Son, and hath given all things into his hand.
*Question 4*. We have eternal life. Where is that life now? Colossians 3:3.
Colossians 3:3 For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God.
*Question 5*. When will this eternal life be granted to the saints? Colossians 3:4.
Colossians 3:4 When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory
