💍✨
Love, unity, and grace filled the air on 11th April 2026 as two of our beloved brothers Bro. Michael Conteh and Bro. Augustin Safana from the SSVP St. Josephine Bakhita Conference joyfully celebrated their Holy Matrimony at M.I.C Parish, Waterloo.

This beautiful occasion was more than a wedding it was a testament to faith, brotherhood, and the enduring spirit of charity that binds us together as Vincentians. Seeing our brothers begin this sacred journey of love reminds us that true service is rooted in love; love for God, love for one another, and love for family.

We celebrate with you both and pray that your union be richly blessed with peace, joy, and unwavering faith. May your home be a reflection of Christ’s love and a source of inspiration to many. 🙏❤️

Congratulations to our dear brothers! Your Vincentian family stands with you today and always.

🌸✨ Easter Joy Shared in Unity! ✨🌸

On Easter Monday, 6th April, five young Vincentians together with the President of St. Bakhita’s Conference had the wonderful opportunity to attend the Annual Easter Outing hosted by St. Martin's Conference.

It was a beautiful day filled with joy, laughter, and togetherness as members came together to celebrate the spirit of Easter — a time of love, hope, and renewal. 💛

Moments like these strengthen our bond as Vincentians and remind us of the importance of unity and service to others.

We are grateful for the warm reception and the chance to share in such a meaningful celebration.

🌿 In serving, we grow. In sharing, we shine. 🌿

❤️ THIS EASTER, SOMEONE IS PRAYING FOR HELP… YOU CAN BE THE ANSWER.

Many families in our community struggle to afford food, clothing and basic needs. This Easter, the Society of St. Vincent de Paul – St. Josephine Bakhita Conference, Benguema is organizing an Easter Treat for the Poor to bring hope and relief to those who need it most. But we cannot do it alone. We are calling on all people of goodwill to support this mission through donations of cash, clothing, shoes, dry food rations, or other usable items.

📖 “ Prayer with fasting is good but better than both is almsgiving with righteousness .” — Tobit 12:8

Your generosity can help a struggling family experience joy, dignity and love this Easter season.

✨ CHRISTMAS TREAT OF THE POOR – ST. BAKHITA’S CONFERENCE ✨
In the true spirit of Christmas—love, sharing, and compassion—the Society of St. Vincent de Paul, St. Bakhita’s Conference, reached out once again to our cherished family members.

Out of our 18 registered beneficiaries, we were blessed to have 13 present today, representing over 70% attendance, as we shared the joy of the season through a Christmas Treat of the Poor ❤️🎄

🎁 Items shared included:
• 3 bags of rice • 1 (5-gallon) palm oil • Salt
• 3 packets of assorted Maggi and used clothings

This act of love was made possible through the generosity of our Life Patrons, who contributed Le 2,000 and more from members to support this noble cause. 🙏🏽

Today was more than just sharing food—it was about restoring dignity, spreading hope, and reminding our family members that they are seen, valued, and loved.

As St. Vincent de Paul reminds us:
“Charity is the cement which binds communities to God and persons to one another.”
We give thanks to God for the hearts that give, the hands that serve, and the lives that were touched today.

May the joy of Christmas continue to dwell among us all. 🌟

Pope Leo has released the first major magisterial document of his papacy: Dilexi te (I have loved you).

It is a profound and deeply moving document addressed to all Christians, reminding us that at the heart of our faith is the call to love our neighbour. It reminds us of the preferential love that God has for those who are poor, the most vulnerable and marginalised.

We are called to learn from our brothers and sisters who live in poverty, recognising that their experiences bring a unique perspective to the increasingly unequal world that we live in today.

And we are encouraged to take concrete actions to build a better world, through almsgiving and raising our voices against the injustice that we see, because:

"Charity has the power to change reality; it is a genuine force for change in history."

You are invited to find out more about the Pope's message for us today and how you can respond to his call for concrete action.
