*GOD- AUTHOR AND FINISHER OF FAITH*
📖Job 33:4 The spirit of God hath made me, and the breath of the Almighty hath given me life.
📖Hebrews 12:2 Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.
An Author is the owner of a piece of writing or a book.
Life is not an accident; it is a divine project. God is the One who begins life, sustains life, directs life, and concludes life according to His perfect will. When we understand God as the Author and Finisher of life, we learn to trust His wisdom, submit to His process, and walk in His purpose with confidence.
*Consider the following* :
👉 *He Designed You Intentionally*
You are not a mistake. God wrote your story before you were born. Your abilities, personality, opportunities, and journey are all part of His divine design.
He Gives Life and Purpose
👉 *God does not just create life—He gives it meaning.* Every life has a divine assignment. God authored your purpose long before you entered this world.
👉 *He Begins Every Good Work*
Whatever God starts, He starts with purpose:

*EASY IDENTIFICATION*
📖 1 John 3:10 In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother.
*Introduction*
Every true believer bears a mark that distinguishes them from the world.
In this passage, Apostle John makes it easy to identify who truly belongs to God and who doesn’t. The difference is not in appearance, church attendance, or words — but in righteous living and genuine love.
Our character and conduct reveal our true spiritual identity.
*THE REALITY OF TWO FAMILIES*(Matthew 7:20)
🖌️There are only two spiritual families on earth — the children of God and the children of the devil (John 8:44).
🖌️Everyone belongs to one of these families based on who they follow and obey.
🖌️Identification is by nature and behaviour, not by claim or title.
Reflection: Who is your spiritual father based on your lifestyle?

📖 Colossians 3:23–24 — “And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men; knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for ye serve the Lord Christ.”
📖 Matthew 25:21, 23 — “Well done, good and faithful servant; thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things…”
*EFFECTIVENESS**
*Effectiveness* means producing the desired result or achieving the intended goal.
It is not just about being busy or active, but about being fruitful, productive, and result-oriented.
*SERVICE*
*Service* simply means doing work or performing duties to help or benefit others.
It involves using one’s time, talent, and resources to fulfill a purpose, meet a need, or achieve a goal in obedience to God and for the growth of others.
*EFFECTIVENESS IN SERVICE**
*Effectiveness in service* means serving in such a way that your efforts produce positive, measurable, and lasting results.
It means being fruitful, faithful, and excellent in the work God has entrusted to you.
*GOD’S STEPS FOR EFFECTIVE SERVICE*
👉 *It is God-centered* (Colossians 3:23)
👉 *It is purpose-driven* -It focuses on achieving what God intends, not personal ambition.
👉 *It is fruitful* It brings about visible and lasting impact in lives and ministries.
👉 *It is faithful* :It is marked by consistency, integrity, and obedience. (Matthew 25:21)
*Effectiveness in service is about faithfulness, fruitfulness, and excellence in doing what God has called you to do.*
*We are not just called to serve — we are called to* *serve well.*
God rewards not the quantity of our work, but the quality of our heart and the results of our obedience.
When service is done unto the Lord with love, diligence, and faith, it becomes fruitful, impactful, and eternally rewarded.

*GOD’S FULFILLING TIME NEVER ELAPSES*
📖 Genesis 8:22 While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease
*Introduction*
God is a God of seasons and divine timing. His promises never expire, and His purposes are never delayed beyond their appointed time. Though man may forget, and situations may change, God’s timing stands sure. Just as day follows night and seasons never fail, God’s plans for your life will surely come to pass.
👉 *GOD’S TIMING IS SURE AND UNCHANGEABLE (HABAKKUK 2:3)*
🖋️Even when it seems delayed, God’s promise will not fail.
🖋️ His timing is perfect because He sees the end from the beginning.
🖋️What He has ordained will happen — not a second too early or too late.
📚 *Abraham waited for many years, but God’s promise of Isaac came to pass exactly as spoken.*
👉* *GOD SUSTAINS THE ORDER OF LIFE (GENESIS 8:22)*
✍🏻After the flood, God established an unbreakable covenant of continuity.
🥕Seasons of sowing and reaping continue without interruption — a sign that God’s faithfulness never stops.
✍🏻Just as seasons change, your difficult season will also give way to your season of fulfillment.
👉 *GOD’S WORD CANNOT BE BROKEN (ISAIAH 55:11)*
🙏What God speaks must come to pass.
☑️Time cannot cancel God’s covenant; His word has no expiry date.
☑️Every divine promise carries its own fulfillment time — and that time will surely come.
Joseph’s dreams seemed delayed but were fulfilled in God’s perfect season.
*IN CONCLUSION*
God’s fulfilling time never elapses. His promises are not forgotten; they are simply awaiting the right season. Be patient, trust Him, and keep believing. What He said concerning your life, family, ministry, or nation will come to pass because God’s timing is flawless and His faithfulness unending.
Christ has time for you — and today is your time. Will you recognize His timing and appreciate Him? If so say, *yes Lord* *I am available*

📖Luke 17:15 And one of them, when he saw that he was healed, turned back, and with a loud voice glorified God.
*Introduction*
A heart full of gratitude is one that gives thanks to God in every situation. Gratitude is the mark of a true believer who recognizes God’s goodness, mercy, and faithfulness.
Luke 17:11–19, we see ten l***rs healed by Jesus — yet only one returned to give thanks. This account teaches us that thanksgiving is not just a polite response; it is a spiritual act that pleases God and brings greater blessings.

👉 *GRATITUDE RECOGNIZES THE SOURCE OF BLESSING*
🥕 The healed l***r saw that he was healed — he noticed what God had done.
🥕 A grateful heart sees God’s hand in every good thing — in provision, protection, healing, and even in daily breath.
👉 *GRATITUDE RESPONDS IN WORSHIP AND ACTION*(Psalm 100:4)
🥕 The thankful l***r didn’t just feel gratitude — he acted on it by returning to Jesus.
🙏 True thanksgiving always moves us to worship, testify, and serve.

👍 *Stage 3 – Solid Food* (Spiritual Maturity and Responsibility) Hebrews 5:14
🥕 *At this stage, believers are able to handle deeper truths, resist temptation, and teach others.*
🥕 *They are stable, discerning, and fruitful in service.*
🥕 *They no longer depend on others for spiritual nourishment; they feed directly from God’s Word through the Holy Spirit* .
📌 *Maturity means taking responsibility for your growth and walking in obedience and service.*
*CHARACTERISTICS OF GOD’S MATURE STUDENT*
🖋️ *Teachable and Obedient*( Psalm 25:9)
☑️Always ready to learn and quick to obey God’s Word.
🖋️ *Spiritually Discerned*(Hebrew 5:14)
☑️Able to distinguish right from wrong, truth from error.

📖 Isaiah 28:9–10“Whom shall He teach knowledge? and whom shall He make to understand doctrine? them that are weaned from the milk, and drawn from the breasts. For precept must be upon precept, line upon line, here a little, and there a little.”
📖Hebrews 5:12–14
*INTRODUCTION*
Every student begins with simple lessons before advancing to complex ones. In the same way, God’s children begin their spiritual journey with the milk of His Word — the basic teachings of salvation, repentance, and faith. But God’s desire is not for us to remain spiritual infants; He wants us to grow into maturity, able to handle solid food — the deeper truths and responsibilities of His Kingdom (Hebrews 5:14).
Spiritual growth is a process — it does not happen overnight. It comes through consistent learning, obedience, and training by the Holy Spirit. God is looking for mature students — those who are no longer babies in faith but have developed strong character, discernment, and spiritual understanding.
*THE PROCESS OF GROWTH FROM MILK TO SOLID FOOD*
a. *Stage 1 – Milk* (New Birth and Foundation)
1 Peter 2:2
🥕 *At this stage, believers learn the basics: repentance, salvation, prayer, forgiveness, and love* .
🥕 *It is a stage of learning dependence — like babies who rely on others to feed them* .
📌 Every believer must start here, but should not remain here forever.
👍. *Stage 2 – Weaning* (Testing and Training)
• Isaiah 28:9 — “Them that are weaned from the milk…”
🥕 *This is the process where God begins to stretch and discipline us* .
🥕 *We experience challenges, corrections, and lessons that help us grow stronger in faith* .
🥕 *God begins to teach “precept upon precept, line upon line” — meaning He builds our understanding little by little through experiences and obedience* .
📌 Growth involves being corrected, tested, and refined by God.

Living together as a man and woman without marriage is a *dangerous* and *ungodly adventure* . It is easy in such a situation to forget that you are not married, and the relationship begins to assume the position of marriage, with both parties claiming ownership of each other. This may quickly lead to immorality, and even to bearing children outside wedlock, yet the truth remains: without paying the bride price or dowry and receiving parental blessings, it is not marriage.

*THE WAY OUT
👍* *Wait on God’s Timing* – “He has made everything beautiful in His time” (Ecclesiastes 3:11).
👍 *Be Genuinely Born Again* – Only by surrendering to Christ can one overcome the temptation of cohabitation (John 3:3; 2 Corinthians 5:17).
*👍 *Be Faithful in God’s Word* – “How shall a young man cleanse his way? By taking heed according to Your word” (Psalm 119:9,11; Joshua 1:8).
*👍*Avoid Desperation* – “Be still before the LORD and wait patiently for Him” (Psalm 37:7; Philippians 4:6).
👍 *Prepare for True Union* – Build yourself spiritually, emotionally, and financially for a lasting marriage (Luke 14:28; Proverbs 24:27).
*IN CONCLUSION*
Residing together as unmarried opposite sexes is not just a *social danger* , but a *spiritual error* . God’s design for marriage must be followed: *“Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh* ” (Genesis 2:24). To avoid disappointment and dishonour, *wait on God* , *walk in purity* , and *prepare for a union* that glorifies Him. Remember;
*“ Marriage is honorable in all, and the bed undefiled: but whoremongers and adulterers God will judge”* (Hebrew 13:4).

👉 **COHABITATION IGNORES IMPORTANT RIGHTS*
*✖️*Parental Right* – Parents are dishonored when their consent and blessings are bypassed (Exodus 20:12; Deuteronomy 5:16)
✖️* *Personal Right* – Each person loses their dignity and moral standing before God and man (1 Corinthians 6:18–20)
✖️* *Children’s Righ* t – Children born in such a setting are often exposed to rejection, identity crises, and conflict (Proverbs 22:6; Psalm 127:3).
🥲 *Sadly, many such relationships end with bitterness, confrontation, and regret because they were never founded on God’s order* (Matthew 19:6).
*👉 REASONS WHY COHABITATION BEFORE MARRIAGE IS DANGEROUS*
🥕 *It Delays True Marriage* – By living together prematurely, you miss the right steps toward honorable marriage (Genesis 2:24; Proverbs 18:22).
🥕 *It Destroys Genuine Desire for Marriage* – The respect and longing for proper union are lost (Hebrews 13:4).
🥕 *It Ignores God’s Purpose for Marriage* – God designed marriage to be honorable and pure (Hebrews 13:4; Malachi 2:15).
🥕 *It Leads to Disappointment* – Most such relationships collapse, leaving wounds and regrets (Proverbs 14:12; Galatians 6:7–8).
