"Children are a heritage from the Lord, offspring a reward from Him." — Psalm 127:3–5

Today, we gathered with grateful hearts to celebrate our Children's Thanksgiving Service, giving all glory to God for His faithfulness over the lives of our children.

Message Highlights:

📖 1. The Blessings of God

The greatest blessing is the presence of God.
Seek God's kingdom first, and He will provide all that you need (Matthew 6:33).
To live a blessed life, we must close doors that lead us away from God and separate ourselves from ungodly influences (Galatians 6:4; Psalm 23:1–6).

📖 2. Do Not Stand in the Path of Sinners

Love the Lord with all your heart (Deuteronomy 6:5).
Choose righteousness over the ways of the world (Romans 1:31).
Train up a child in the way they should go, and they will not depart from it (Proverbs 22:6).

As we celebrate our children today, may they grow in wisdom, faith, and the fear of the Lord. May they be like trees planted by streams of water, flourishing in every season and bringing glory to God.

We thank everyone who joined us in making this Children's Thanksgiving Service a joyful and memorable celebration. May God continue to bless every child, parent, teacher, and family.

Today, we were reminded that the things of this world—wealth, cars, houses, education, and status—are temporary. Our greatest confidence should never be in what we own, but in our relationship with God.

True success is found in knowing the Lord, walking in His steadfast love, and living according to His will. Fear should never cause us to abandon God's calling upon our lives.

Key Message: Boast only in the Lord, for His steadfast love never fails.

Introduction

The letter in Revelation 3 was written to the believers in Laodicea. The church had become lukewarm in their relationship with God and was relying on material wealth rather than spiritual growth.

Revelation 3:15–17 reminds us that God desires wholehearted commitment from His people. He calls us to recognize our spiritual condition and return to Him.

Point 1: The Invitation

"Behold, I stand at the door and knock..." (Revelation 3:20)

God continually invites us into a closer relationship with Him. Whenever we come to church, God speaks to us through His Word, preparing us for the future and guiding us in His purpose.

Just as God spoke to Jonah and gave him an assignment (Jonah 1:1), God still speaks to His people today. The question is whether we are willing to listen and obey.

God is always speaking to His children.
Church is a place where we receive direction and preparation for life.
Obedience to God's voice leads to life and blessing.
We must open our hearts to God's invitation.

Jesus is standing at the door and knocking. Those who listen to His voice and open the door will experience His presence, guidance, and abundant life. Let us choose to listen and live.
