Jesus ,zaccheaus and His salvation

We have asked the unsaved to change or be holy or come to church

Let's see Jesus ..

Luke 19:5,9-10 KJV
[5] And when Jesus came to the place, he looked up, and saw him, and said unto him, Zacchaeus, make haste, and come down; for to day I must abide at thy house.

Jesus broke tradition .

He eats with a man the media had unpleasant things to say about .

For zaccheaus was a controversial figure

Luke 19:2 KJV
[2] And, behold, there was a man named Zacchaeus, which was the chief among the publicans, and he was rich.

All sinners are controversial ,the goodie goodie and the badddo .

Sin is the "controversy " with God,

Infact the only one .

So ,hear the Son ..

[9] And Jesus said unto him, This day is salvation come to this house, forsomuch as he also is a son of Abraham.

He takes His salvation to him.
He hasn't called the sinner to come and be saved .

He seeks him ,to save him.

10] For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost.

Hence in His commission to the church is GO...

Matthew 28:19 KJV
[19] Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:

Mark 16:15 KJV
[15] And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.

All nations and all kinds of beings ,human beings .

All the world ,including the "zaccheauses "in your city .

Don't organize programs for him to come .

Salvation is a gift not a reward .

It's God making an offer ,in His son .

Romans 5:8 KJV
[8] But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

An offer of eternal salvation to the whole world and "Zacchaeus ".

2 Corinthians 5:19 KJV
[19] To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.

No need to pre quality themselves as Zacchaeus tried to .

Luke 19:8 KJV
[8] And Zacchaeus stood, and said unto the Lord; Behold, Lord, the half of my goods I give to the poor; and if I have taken any thing from any man by false accusation, I restore him fourfold.

Salvation has been paid for .

It's just as u are !as zaccheaus is ..

Let's take this same Jesus to "zaccheauses "in our world !

Seen this ?

Have a glorious week ahead

I call You blessed

Jesus is Lord ,We Win!

_*And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues (Mark 16:17).*_

When you study and understand what the Bible says about the Name of Jesus, it’ll strengthen your faith and change your general attitude and approach to life. Philippians 2:9-10 says,_*“Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth.”*_

At His Name, every knee bows, demons tremble and hell quakes. Hallelujah! He said, “In my name shall they (those who believe in Him) cast out devils.” You never need to sweat to cast out devils. All it requires is that you use the Name of Jesus.

The devil may play on your mind and tell you you’re not “qualified” or “powerful” enough to cast him out. Never accept his lies. Jesus gave you the authority. He said in Luke 10:19 NKJV, _*“Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you.”*_

You have all it takes to cast out devils—the Name of Jesus. Everything that exists in this world and beyond is subject to that Name. Live victoriously and dominate circumstances in His Name.

*CONFESSION*

*Everything that exists in this world and beyond is subject to the Name of Jesus. I exercise my authority in Him to keep the devil and his cohorts at bay and defeated, as I live victoriously and dominate life’s situations and circumstances, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.*

*FURTHER STUDY:* *||* *John 16:23-24* And in that day ye shall ask me nothing. Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give [it] you. 24 Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name: ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full. *||*

*||* *Acts 3:1-10 & 16* Now Peter and John went up together into the temple at the hour of prayer, [being] the ninth [hour]. 2 And a certain man lame from his mother's womb was carried, whom they laid daily at the gate of the temple which is called Beautiful, to ask alms of them that entered into the temple; 3 Who seeing Peter and John about to go into the temple asked an alms. 4 And Peter, fastening his eyes upon him with John, said, Look on us. 5 And he gave heed unto them, expecting to receive something of them. 6 Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk. 7 And he took him by the right hand, and lifted [him] up: and immediately his feet and ancle bones received strength. 8 And he leaping up stood, and walked, and entered with them into the temple, walking, and leaping, and praising God. 9 And all the people saw him walking and praising God: 10 And they knew that it was he which sat for alms at the Beautiful gate of the temple: and they were filled with wonder and amazement at that which had happened unto him. 16 And his name through faith in his name hath made this man strong, whom ye see and know: yea, the faith which is by him hath given him this perfect soundness in the presence of you all. *||*

Topic : DOCTRINES

Definition of Doctrines.
It is a recognisable principle of beliefs, teaching, values or instructions that is adhered to, believed, taught and practiced by a given sect of people. Most doctrines are transferable concepts, which were handed down to us. For example, righteousness, sanctification, prosperity etc.

There are three major types of doctrines;
a) Scriptural doctrines
b) Man- made doctrines
c)False doctrines

1) Scriptural Doctrines
These are founded on the word of God and its context. They are doctrines which were handed down to us from the apostles; whom our Lord Jesus taught in the beginning (Acts 1:1)

Characteristics of Spiritual Doctrines
a) They are entirely based on the truth of God's Word
b) They are totally based on faith .

2) Man - Made Doctrines
They are doctrines that bother on the five senses. They are structured after the fleshly mind of man. It often binds God's people. A good example is Circumcision which the Jews wanted to impose on the gentiles. Acts 15:1, Gal.1:6-12, Col. 2:18.

Characteristics of Man - Made Doctrines
a) They are totally based on the five senses and not on faith.
b)They are not based on the understanding of God's Word; therefore, they make a poor specimen out of the new creation.
c) They have no spiritual bases; therefore, their end is destruction.
d)They exalt the flesh but are often under a cloak of humility.
e) They do not offer liberty to the new creation.

3)False Doctrines
A lie is not the opposite of truth but a perversion of it; so also false doctrines are based on the perversion of the truths of God's Word. 1Tim. 4:1-3 , 1Jn.4:1-3, Acts 2:42, Gal. 1:6-12 , Col. 2:18-23.

RHAPSODY OF REALITIPS ~PASTOR CHRIS

WEDNESDAY , APRIL 15TH

THEME: THE LOVE OF THE FATHER

THEME SCRIPTURE : For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life (John 3:16).

You most likely memorized the verse above as a kid, like I did. We were made to recite it as kids, but as I grew and began to understand the importance of language, the importance of words, I couldn’t but review the thoughts in that verse to understand what it really means. It says, “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish.…”

That’s the sovereign declaration of the Almighty God; it’s a legal message to the world, a legal instruction. As a matter of fact, it’s a law. God so loved everybody, He so loved us that He gave His only begotten Son. And in that verse alone, I found the profuse effusion and demonstration of the Father’s love. There’re so many messages embedded therein. Think about it: that He gave Jesus in your place means He loves you as much as He loves Jesus. That means you’re valuable to God.

If God so loved you, you must be something to Him; otherwise, He wouldn’t pay a price so dear in your place. Moreso, that He loves you means He’s watching over you every day; He’s with you every moment and every step of the way. He cares about everything that concerns you. This should give you an extraordinary confidence in life; a new way of thinking. The extent to which He went in demonstrating His love for you is proof that nothing is too good for you.

Paul understood this and submitted, “What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us? He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?” (Romans 8:31-32). Become confident in the Father’s love for you, and be compelled by that love to reach and win others for Him.

2 Corinthians 5:14-15 declares, “For the love of Christ constraineth us; because we thus judge, that if one died for all, then were all dead: And that he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again.” This means we can’t be quiet; we must tell of His love, of His grace, mercy and compassion. Hallelujah!

PRAYER
Precious Father, thank you for your unwavering love which you’ve so lavishly poured out on us! Thank you for making me the object of your grace, glory and righteousness. I walk in the consciousness of your love now and always, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

FURTHER STUDY:
Romans 8:31-37
What shall we then say to these things? If God [be] for us, who [can be] against us? 32 He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things? 33 Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God's elect? [It is] God that justifieth. 34 Who [is] he that condemneth? [It is] Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us. 35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? [shall] tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? 36 As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. 37 Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.

2 Corinthians 5:14 AMPC
For the love of Christ controls and urges and impels us, because we are of the opinion and conviction that [if] One died for all, then all died;

use insultive and abusive language against leaders, it's wrong!
your thoughts. Act on the gains of democracy, the right of expression. Express yourself! Express your thoughts! Speak up! Speak out!
don't use abusive language. When you use abusive language it means you are of a poorer breed. You are of a lesser quality. Never repeat a scandal! You should have too much excellent for that. Train yourself to use excellent language. Train yourself to speak in praise-worthy terms. Use helpful and comforting words. Leave the dirty job to others. Leave it to those who are untrained, who are uncivilized. Practice high ideals and make a difference!

God's Not Dead

24/09/2019

Message title: Focus On The Person, Not On The Power.
But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you....
(Acts 1: 8).

There's a difference between the person of the Holy Spirit and the impartations of the Holy Spirit. In the Scriptures, we read how handkerchiefs and aprons taken from the body of Paul healed the sick (Read Acts 19:12). The Holy Spirit wasn't on the handkerchiefs and aprons, but His power was on them.

As a Christian, you're a greater and better recipient of the Spirit's power. He lives in you, and is real in you as a person, but He has also imparted your whole being with His power. This is where many have missed it: they seem to be more conscious of the power than the Person of the Holy Spirit.

You can have the power of the Holy Spirit, and not be in fellowship with the Person of the Holy Spirit, and that's dangerous. It happened to some in the Bible days, and still happens today.
For example, Samson was endued with the power of God; the power was in his hair, but he wasn't living right. He disregarded the Word of God , and fell in love with a Philistine. He knew his decisions were wrong, but he was confident that if trouble came, all he had to do was activate the power of God in Him. He knew how to "shake himself" (Judges 16:20) for the power to work. He knew how to make contact with the "power", but wasn't in fellowship with the "Person". Of course, he would pay dearly for his error eventually.
That's just like some people today. Someone could be healing the sick, casting out devils, but his ways aren't right with God ; he's not in fellowship with the Holy Spirit. All he has are the impartation of the Spirit.
That's not what God wants.
Your fellowship with the Holy Spirit is the most important thing in your life. Apportion regular times in the day to spend with Him, and He'll reveal mysteries to you concerning your life, future, family, job, finances and everything else related to you. He'll fly you on eagle's wings and navigate you through life victoriously.
