Alhamdulillah, we are truly blessed to have our beloved Sheikh Hillal Amin Turay among us, guiding us with wisdom and sincerity on the straight path of Islam. His unwavering dedication to spreading the message of faith touches every heart, whether young or old. Every lecture and visit he makes, from remote villages to the city mosques, reflects a genuine passion for teaching and connecting with our community.
Sheikh Hillalβs gentle smile and humble character remind us of the Prophetβs example. He has traveled across Sierra Leone, sharing knowledge, counseling young couples, and inspiring crowds with clear, kind explanations of our faith. His commitment to improving our community has even earned him recognition many consider him a beacon of hope for the next generation. We see how he lives by the teaching that βthe best among us are those who benefit others,β and that philosophy guides everything he does.
Just this past week during a Jumuah (Friday prayer) sermon in Waterloo, a truly touching moment occurred. A young boy, without any hesitation or fear, approached Sheikh Hillal and told him how much he admires his work and character. A scene that warmed all our hearts. In that instant, it became clear: the seeds of faith and kindness that Sheikh Hillal sows are being harvested even by our youngest generation.
This beautiful moment shows the powerful impression Sheikh Hillal has made on our youth and the entire community. When even children run up to him and make dua for him, we know he is inspiring hope and love for Islam in them. His sincere efforts are building a strong foundation for the future, as these young ones grow up looking to him as a guiding light.
May Allah bless Sheikh Hillal Amin Turay for all that he does. May Allah protect him, strengthen him, and reward him abundantly in this life and the next. May his work continue to bring joy and guidance to our community, and may the boyβs dua and all our heartfelt prayers be accepted. Ameen.
