Heaven Seekers Youth Foundation SL

Heaven Seekers Youth Foundation SL To assist in empowering the less privileges, ill-fated, at-risk youths positively, giving them hope for the future and identifying young talents.

About Us
The foundation was formed in September 2014. It is a religious, a non-profit, a non-political, a non-governmental and charity youth-led based foundation. It primarily focuses on improving, empowering, promoting, providing provisional support such as education, healthcare and warm bed for children and youths. The idea of forming Heaven Seekers Youth Foundation Sierra Leone was initiated by

pro-active, articulate dynamic and religious minded youths, who strongly believe that with concerted efforts by empowered organizations and individuals we will help youths, less privileged, orphans, vulnerable children, abandoned children, and street children to live with a descent and meaningful life in the society. This will lead to the reduction of poverty, child abuse, child prostitution, early child marriage, domestic violence on children, teenage pregnancy and gangster attitude. The Heaven Seekers Youth Foundation Sierra Leone believe children have the right to participate in communities and have programs and services for themselves, and for the right of children to be protected from any form of abuse, neglect, exploitation and discrimination. At Heaven Seekers Youth Foundation, we are dedicated to provide positive influence, to help to raise the standards of young people, to engage and teach them valuable life skills, self-empowerment, building their characters with moral principles and to help them identify their God-given talents. This will stand to reinforce the importance role young teenagers can play in the lives of Sierra Leone’s next generation.

HEAVEN SEEKERS YOUTH FOUNDATION SL PUT SMILE ON FACES OF THE LESS PRIVILEGED AT ROLAL 2 VILLAGE IN PORT LOKO DISTRICT.

The Heaven Seekers Youth foundation is *apolitical organization* which constitutes young adult Sierra Leoneans from the two main religions in our country, *Islam and Christianity.* Their membership as indicated , ensures religious tolerance as a key fundamental tool which Sierra Leone is enjoying.

Few years back, this foundation has been doing similar humanitarian donations in *Bo, Kabala* and other areas within Freetown city. As young people, they considered it expedient to help the needy whose chances of tasting the national cake remains a nightmare.

*On Sunday, 28th January, 2018* few members, EVELYN KAMARA, EMMANUEL KAMARA, FEDIA BANGALI and SMART CONTEH drove off from Freetown to stretch their godly donations to the people of *ROLAL 2*, a village that is approximately one mile away from Port Loko city.
The Program, which was well attended by orphans, youths, women and the aged was ushered by *Mr. S. A Kamara*, the village head.

In their key notes address, EVELYN and EMMANUEL says, the items constitute used and unused clothing that were personally sourced by the members of the foundation and well-wishers with the goodwill intentions to help less privileged in remote communities. They said, the organization is always embarking on doing this every year with some scholarship supports. They concluded that, they will seek help from sponsors so as to ensure continuity and that other villages will benefit.

The people were so overwhelmed and delighted in receiving these items.

Giving the vote of thanks, *MADAM HAWANATU* ,one of the beneficiaries says, such a venture from *HSYF* can't be overemphasized owing to the fact that, they came all the way from Freetown just to help them with the little they have. It takes only God-fearing people of such nature to do such without any political attachments, she reiterated.
