*“QUIET TIME”*

14th January 2021

Read : *James 3:13-18*

_“For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. …He taketh the wise in their own craftiness”_ – *1 Corinthians 3:19*

*A quiet time will show you that there are two kinds of wisdom:*_human cleverness and the wisdom of God._ A quiet time will also show you that human cleverness is a poor substitute for the wisdom of God. A quiet time makes you move progressively away from human cleverness and towards the wisdom of God.

_A quiet time introduces you to real wisdom because you begin to fear, respect and obey God_ *(Psalm 111:10).*

*The quiet time is the key to God’s wisdom and therefore to your promotion.* _By having a quiet time you exalt wisdom in your life and therefore bring yourself to honour_: *Proverbs 4:7, 8.*

_A quiet time is your key to wisdom and therefore your key to victory_: *Ecclesiastes 9:18.*

*A quiet time is your key to becoming wealthy because you have access to the wisdom of God.*

_Riches and honour are with me; yea, durable riches and righteousness. That I may cause those that love me to inherit substance; and I will fill their treasures._ *Proverbs 8:18, 21*

Have a daily quiet time and reap all these benefits!
