This was the very first Mission Tour we had in 2016 with President and Sister Curtis. This was the entire Kissy Zone at that time. So much of the church has grown since then, there are now 3 Stakes where there once was once on Kissy District.

In December 2018, There were two large Zone Conferences before Christmas. One part of the program was the telling of a Nephite Christmas (A Night with no Darkness, a child's telling of the Savior's birth) For the eastern Zones, the Kunzes and the Moomeys orchestrated the program following the devotional.
There were Zone skits, and then games (Minute to win it!) They also took a group Photo (we wish we'd had Elder Kunz to take one for the western Zone Conf. too!)

While were arranging the Zone Conference for the western Zones, the Sherwoods and Corbaleys helped organize the eastern Zones. The celebration featured another Nativity scene with skits and musical arrangements by the Missionaries. Both Christmas parties were blessed by the Waybright Family sending us gifts- so that every missionary received presents. The Senior Couples and Elder Kamden Rasmussen truly made this celebration possible! (Sister Clawson got to just speak at this party, and that is why there are more photos) The Spirit was strong and both Zone Christmas celebrations. We felt very grateful to the many people sacrificed to make these wonderful memories!

December is always a busy time of year, wherever in the world you are. In Sierra Leone the Missionaries added to the Christmas spirit as we had a Nativity acted out for Zone Conferences that year. (Zones did singing of hymns, and we retold the story of Christ's birth) Here are some from the Freetown/ Kissy celebration.
