iTHE SILENCE BEFORE THE TRUMPET
WHY HEAVEN SEEMS QUIET WHEN ETERNITY IS ABOUT TO SPEAK!!!
Many voices are rising today. Many hearts are growing tired. Many minds are beginning to question what they once believed.
They say, we have been hearing about the coming of Christ for years. We have been told again and again that the rapture is near. Yet nothing has happened. Where is He? Why is He delaying? Is it even real?
Listen carefully. This question is not new. It did not begin in this generation.
Even in the days of the apostles, people were already asking the same thing. In 2 Peter 3:3 to 4, the Bible says that in the last days, scoffers will come, asking, where is the promise of His coming?
So if you are hearing people mock the return of Christ today, it is not a surprise. It is a sign.
Now let us go deeper.
The reason Jesus has not yet returned is not because He has forgotten His promise. It is not because He is weak. It is not because He is slow.
The Bible gives a clear answer in 2 Peter 3:9. The Lord is not slow in keeping His promise, but He is patient, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.
Do you understand what that means?
Every extra day you see is mercy. Every morning you wake up is another chance. Every breath in your lungs is God giving humanity more time to turn back to Him.
If Christ had come years ago, many who are alive today would not have had the opportunity to repent. Many souls would have been lost forever.
So what looks like delay is actually love.
God is giving time for the sinner to repent, for the backslider to return, for the lost to be found.
But hear this clearly.
Mercy has an end.
There will come a day when the door will close. Just like in the days of Noah, people were eating, drinking, marrying, and living their normal lives. They ignored the warning. They laughed at Noah. They thought it would never happen.
Until the flood came.
And when it came, it was too late.
That same pattern will repea
