Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God; believe also in me. My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you? — John 14:1-2 NIV

Happy Easter Sunday! 🌅✝️

“He is not here; He has risen, just as He said.” — Matthew 28:6

Today we celebrate the victory of Jesus Christ over sin and death. The cross was not the end—the empty tomb is our hope, our joy, and our new life.

Because He lives, we have hope. Because He lives, we are forgiven. Because He lives, we are free.

May the resurrection power of Christ fill your heart with peace, joy, and renewed faith today and always.

Christ is risen! He is risen indeed! 🙏✨

Blessed Good Friday
But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed.

The crowds that went ahead of him and those that followed shouted, “Hosanna to the Son of David!” “Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!” “Hosanna in the highest heaven!” Matthew 21:9

A Season of Gratitude, Reflection, and Transition in Leadership

Dear Beloved Brethren,

I am profoundly honored to inform you that the National Conference of Christians in Action Churches Sierra Leone will experience another leadership transition in May 2026. It has been both an honor and a divine privilege to serve as National Superintendent of this great mission—the highest office of our conference—since 2022.

God remains the Master Planner in the establishment of CinASL. From its humble beginnings as an evangelistic movement, to a training institution, to an expanding church ministry, and finally becoming a conference in 1985, God has been present at every step and continues to strengthen His mission for the fulfillment of His divine purpose.

As we journey into another phase of leadership, let us thoughtfully reflect on how far the Lord has brought us. Let us learn from both our successes and challenges, and courageously prepare to rise to the greater heights God intends for us. “Where there is no vision, the people perish” (Proverbs 29:18).

The Church of Christ is not merely an organization; it is a living organism. Therefore, we must exhibit the qualities of life—planting and strengthening churches that are self-reproducing, self-supporting, and self-governing. We must proclaim the Good News of Jesus Christ with deep passion for lost souls, nurture converts into true disciples, and develop leaders who, in turn, will train others, so that we may present everyone mature in Christ (2 Timothy 2:2; Colossians 1:28).

Healthy relationships are essential to accomplishing God’s work. Cooperation—especially among leaders—remains a powerful catalyst for fulfilling God’s vision. We must therefore avoid unhealthy competition, division, and a pull-down mentality. Instead, let us embrace love, unity, and a shared purpose as we move forward together.

As Christians, our lives should reflect Christlike character, making a positive impact through godly conduct. Our identity in Christ should be evident not only in what we do, but in who we are—in word, action, integrity, and love—as we uphold biblical values in these contemporary times. “Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace” (Ephesians 4:3).

I wish you a blessed, glorious, and victorious 2026.

Happy New Year! God bless you.

Yours in Christ,
Rev. Andrew D. Kanu

CHOIR CELEBRATION & THANKSGIVING SERVICE — 2025 HIGHLIGHT

As we reflect on the blessings of 2025, one moment that remains unforgettable is the Choir Celebration and Thanksgiving Service of the Central Christians In Action Church Choir 🎶🙌.

It was a truly awesome and inspiring service—a joyful offering of praise, gratitude, and excellence. Our choir, one of the best-organized choirs in town, ministered with unity, discipline, and grace, showcasing choristers endowed with inborn, God-given gifts and hearts fully surrendered to worship ❤️🎼.

Through rich harmonies and Spirit-led ministration, the congregation was ushered into God’s holy presence—faith was stirred, hearts were lifted, and lives were refreshed. An excellent choir does more than sing; it teaches theology through song, strengthens the body of Christ, and creates sacred moments where heaven touches earth ✨.

This celebration and thanksgiving service left a lasting impact—renewing joy, deepening devotion, and reminding us all that praise is both our privilege and our calling.

📖 “Sing to the Lord a new song; sing to the Lord, all the earth.” — Psalm 96:1 (NIV)
📖 “Through Jesus, therefore, let us continually offer to God a sacrifice of praise.” — Hebrews 13:15 (NIV)

We thank God for our choir and for every life blessed through their faithful service 🙏
To Him alone be all the glory!
