Spiritual fortification - _Ime mmụọ ike_
Fortification isn’t about being untouchable. It’s about making your spirit, home, and path too difficult for casual attacks to stick.
What it actually does:
1. Raises your baseline - Your spirit is alert, grounded, and not leaking energy.
2. Closes open doors - Anger, fear, envy, sexual recklessness, and curses are open doors. Fortification seals them.
3. Makes you hard to read - Attackers can’t see your movement clearly, so their aim misses.
3 pillars, short version:
1. Align with your Chi
Your personal spirit is your first defense. Daily morning prayer, keeping your word, and not betraying yourself. A person at war with themselves can’t be fortified.
2. Keep your house and body clean
• Physically clean your space. Dirt and clutter hold stagnant energy.
• Clean spiritually with baths, incense, or ogirisi when you feel heavy.
• Watch what you eat, who you sleep with, and where you go. Each one opens or closes you.
3. Maintain boundaries
• Don’t tell everyone your plans.
• Don’t take gifts, food, or money from people you don’t trust without cleansing.
• Learn to say no. A weak “no” is an open door.
Key mistake:
People think fortification is one ritual and you’re done. It’s daily maintenance. One bath doesn’t make you strong for 6 months. It’s like brushing your teeth - small, consistent action.
If your foundation is weak, no amount of herbs or incense will hold. Fix the foundation first.
