THE CHURCH LOST IT'S LIGHT.

Jesus Christ says He is the light of the world, and anyone who believe Him shall not walk in darkness (John 8: 12). He equally describe His believers as the light of the world (Mathew 5:14).

Now Jesus Christ had gone back to heaven and left His believers as the light of the world. The world is covered with darkness. What happened to the light? Where is the light? Let the church give the answer.

Pray for the church generally, the darkness has cover it, that ministers of God are fighting one another, justifying themselves and hating the others. This is not unity but division which is a sign of babehood in Christ Jesus.

WHERE IS THE LIGHT IN MIDST OF DARKNESS?

The Lord God says darkness has covered the world. The question is, where is the light that darkness has cover the whole world? Who is then is light?

Jesus says He is the light of the world, and anyone who follow Him shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life (John 8:12). Equally,His believers are the light of the world like a city that is set on the hill cannot be hidden (Mathew 5:14).

Now Jesus Christ had left to heaven,who then bears the light of life? His believers as the book of Mathew says. These believers are the church, the body of Christ(Ephesians 5:23).

Therefore, the church is the light of the world in the midst of gross darkness covered the whole world. So, God is asking, where is the light in the midst of total darkness that covered the whole world? Why the light is not seeing shining to expel the darkness as it occurred in Genesis 1:2-3, when there was complete darkness over the water, and the spirit of God moved upon the water. Then God said,let there be light and the light appeared and the darkness disappeared. That was the physical light.

Equally the spiritual light of life could make the spiritual darkness disappeared in the world. This is the character that Jesus Christ gave to the church. Now,why the the church is shining that spiritual light to destroy the total darkness that has overtaken the lives of human being that exists in the world? If the church is not seeing shining this light,then, something has gone wrong with the church. The church should wake up and check itself!

Let us pray for God's intervention, the world is completely covered with darkness. We need light now or else, sin and wickedness shall destroy the world soon.

WHERE IS THE CHURCH THAT THE WHOLE WORLD NOW IS COVER WITH DARKNESS?

In 2021, I saw a man walked into my room with the map of the world and placed on my table. He asked me, "What is this?" "Map of the world" I replied. Then I saw the whole world was completely covered with darkness. Later God remove Africa continent out of the world and released His light on it, and said, "I will bless Africa and prosper it"

However, the Lord Jesus Christ is asking,"Why is the world completely covered with darkness? Where is the light that was shining in the world?"

Brethren, these questions are serious concern to Jesus Christ and any true believer in Jesus. In the first place, Why would the whole world covered with darkness? The Bible says, the world was without form or structure, but only water and darkness covered everywhere and the spirit of of God hovered over the water (Genesis 1:2).

In verse three, God said let there be light and the light appeared and God saw that it was good. This is literal light to the world which are seeing today, called "Day".

Meanwhile,the darkness which Jesus Christ is talking about is what the Bible refers as the light of life or life the light of men (John I:4-5). Jesus Christ says He is the light of the world, and we His disciples are the light of the world, just like a lamp that is put on the table and shine (Mathew 5:14). Similarly, apostle John supports that by saying, "This is the message which we have heard from Him and declare to you, that God is light and in Him is no darkness at all. If we say that we have fellowship with Him, and walk in darkness,we lie and do not practice the truth"(1 John I:5-6).

From these scriptures shows that Jesus Christ is light of the world and we the believers in Him, is the light of the world, because of the fellowship we have with Him in the light. Therefore,no darkness in us. We the believers in Jesus Christ is His church. So, the church is the light of world. Follow me for the second question. Thanks.
