Matthew 10:38-39
[38]And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me.
[39]He that findeth his life shall lose it: and he that loseth his life for my sake shall find it.
***Jesus offers us life abundant & joyful, here & for eternity. It comes at a cost: everything. The rich young ruler found this out. It's hard, but worth it. Jesus promises those who give up everything will receive 100x as much & inherit eternal life. God may ask us to give up something, but He won't give up on us. Hallelujah***
Let us pray
***Lord, show me the areas of my life that still need to come under your rule. Help me to surrender them to you, just as the Apostle Paul did when he counted everything a loss in order to gain a deeper knowledge of Jesus Christ. May I understand that when I lose my life for your sake, I have everything to gain. This I ask in the name of Jesus Christ. AMEN 🙏🙌***

John 4:10
[10]Jesus answered and said unto her, If thou knewest the gift of God, and who it is that saith to thee, Give me to drink; thou wouldest have asked of him, and he would have given thee living water.
(Lost and alone, I felt unworthy of God's love. But when I heard of Jesus' birth, death and resurrection, I felt hope. I prayed to love and laugh, and God answered. Jesus wanted to talk to me, like the Samaritan woman. He offered me living water, and my spirit was transformed. I accepted Jesus' gift and my life changed. God filled me with love and joy. Forever grateful)

Heavenly Father, we are so grateful for all the blessings you have bestowed upon us. We are especially thankful for the gift of salvation through your Son, Jesus Christ. We thank you for this incredible gift. In Jesus Christ name we pray Amen!!!

Matthew 22:39
[39]And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
Love God, love others. Be present, reach out. Avoid self-absorption, seek real-life interactions. Our efforts may seem small, but when we seek to love, we make a difference. Pray for strength to do so.
LET US PRAY
Dear Jesus, we ask for your guidance to live according to your teachings of love for you and for others. May we be filled with your love and grace. Amen.

As Christians, we have the power of faith to calm any storm that comes our way. Jesus showed us this by believing in his own power and commanding the storm to be still. We don't have to be afraid when life throws us a curveball, because Jesus is with us and has the power to stop it. When the storm came, the disciples of Jesus cried out to him for help.

1 John 5:13
[13]These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.
We all want to be free, but Jesus calls us to use this freedom to serve our spouse and family in love. Love is more than just words - it's about showing our devotion through loving deeds. Ask God to show you how to serve your spouse today and do something good for them. It could be the key to saving your marriage.

THEME : God's Love is Not Reckless

God’s love for us is immense and unfathomable. We have heard people describing God's love as reckless, we might even sing about it, but this couldn't be further from the truth. In fact, God's love is the complete opposite of reckless. His love is pure, intentional, and calculated.

In 1 Corinthians 13:4-7, we read that,
love is patient, kind, does not envy or boast, is not proud, is not rude or self-seeking, is not easily angered, keeps no record of wrongs, does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth, always protects, trusts, hopes, and perseveres. This is the description of true love, the kind of love that God has for us.

God's love is not reckless because it is not impulsive or haphazard. He does not love us because of who we are or what we have done. Rather, God loves us because of who He is; a loving and compassionate Father. In Romans 5:8, we read that "God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us."

God's love for us is not based on our merit or worthiness, but solely on His grace and mercy.

Despite our shortcomings and failures, God's love never fails or diminishes. In Psalm 86:15, we read that
"But You, O Lord, are a God full of compassion, and gracious, longsuffering and abundant in mercy and truth."

God's love is constant and unwavering, and nothing can separate us from it.

As it says in Romans 8:38-39, "For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord."

God's love for us is intentional and purposeful. It is not reckless or careless. He knows us intimately and loves us despite our flaws and weaknesses.

As it says in Jeremiah 31:3, *"The Lord has appeared of old to me, saying: 'Yes, I have loved you with an everlasting love; Therefore with lovingkindness I have drawn you.'"

Let us rest in the assurance that God's love is not reckless, but rather, it is steadfast, intentional, and never-ending.
