What can a fig tree teach us about the end of the age?

Join us this Thirteenth Sunday after Trinity for “The Lessons of the Fig Tree.” Pastor Richard brings the word as Jesus calls us to look up, stay ready, and live with hope—because He is near, and His word never fails.

Your child’s early years are filled with so many little moments of discovery. 🌱
But as parents, you may sometimes wonder: What are they really learning through all that playing, creating, exploring and asking questions?

At Little Seeds Preschool (Praiseland), learning goes beyond worksheets and classroom routines. Every activity is thoughtfully designed to help children discover, create, communicate, build confidence and grow in character.

✨ And we’d love for our church family to see the learning journey for themselves!

You’re invited to our Celebration of Learning — a special opportunity to discover the learning behind our children’s work and experience what makes Little Seeds Preschool a nurturing place for your child’s early years.

📅 28 August 2026 (Friday)
⏰ 8:30 AM – 10:30 AM
📍 Little Seeds Preschool (Praiseland)
Blk 662 Yishun Ave 4, Singapore 760662

Perhaps you’ve never realised that our church has a preschool. Or maybe you’ve been curious about what happens inside our classrooms. This is a wonderful chance to come, see, discover and connect — no pressure, just an invitation. 💛

🌱 Come and discover how little moments become meaningful learning.

Every person eventually asks the same searching questions: 𝘞𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘴𝘩𝘰𝘶𝘭𝘥 𝘐 𝘥𝘰? 𝘞𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘺 𝘮𝘢𝘵𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘴? 𝘏𝘰𝘸 𝘴𝘩𝘰𝘶𝘭𝘥 𝘐 𝘭𝘪𝘷𝘦? In a world full of competing voices, moral confusion, and endless priorities, Jesus gives an answer that reaches to the very centre of human life.

This Sunday join Ps Richard and discover how Christian living is about so much more than religious activities and rule keeping.

Revd Daniel Teo will be preaching.

What kind of fasting pleases God? In Isaiah 58, God shows His people that fasting is not about trying to get Him to do what we want. True fasting begins with humble surrender to God and leads to a changed life. It moves us to love others, act justly, care for those in need, and put God first with joy. This Sunday, as a church family, we will learn that fasting is not just giving up food—it is giving our hearts fully to God.

Mrs Dani Teo will be preaching.

A tree full of leaves… but no fruit.
A temple full of activity… but no life.
When Jesus walked into Jerusalem, He exposed more than a withered fig tree — He revealed what happens when appearance replaces authenticity. Join us on Sunday as Ps Richard shares his sermon based on Mark 11:12-25.

Jesus once fed five thousand — but then He did it again for four thousand more. Was it just a repeat miracle, or was He revealing something deeper about His heart for those the world overlooks?
