Daoist Care Foundation Our primary focus is on providing comprehensive support to prison inmates, offering counseling, psychological assistance, and other vital resources.

The newly established foundation, rooted in the collective vision of two Taoist societies in Singapore, aims to uplift underprivileged individuals and give back to the community. Additionally, we extend our support to their families, helping to foster resilience and stability during difficult times. Through these efforts, we strive to facilitate the reintegration of ex-inmates into society, empowe

Grateful and encouraged today as Daoist Care Foundation (DCF) welcomes our new volunteers on board. They have officially joined us in our prison counselling programme, stepping forward with compassion and dedication to serve.

A big thank you to all DCF board directors and members for your continuous support and commitment in making these programmes possible. Together, we are making a difference.

At DCF, we strongly believe that every inmate deserves a second chance, guidance, and hope. We will always stand ready to serve and support the inmates, as they need more care, understanding, and help on their journey of transformation.

We are pleased to share that Daoist Care Foundation (DCF) has successfully enrolled a new batch of prison volunteers, who will soon begin their meaningful journey in our prison programmes.

At DCF, we remain committed to supporting inmates and serving the wider community with compassion and care. We warmly welcome individuals who share our vision to join us as volunteers, and we are always open to collaborating with like-minded organisations to make a greater impact together.

Today, I attended the Daoist Care Foundation (DCF) prison volunteer programme and felt truly encouraged to see our class steadily growing in numbers. It is heartening to know that our inmates always look forward to our sessions and the time we spend together.

At Daoist Care Foundation, we remain committed to our weekly prison outreach programme, walking alongside inmates on their journey of reflection and growth.

A heartfelt thank you to our COO Jacqueline Seet and dedicated volunteer Nicole Yeap for your time and efforts in today’s session. Your willingness to serve and share continues to make a meaningful difference.

In today’s session, we explored the concept of 三业：身、口、意 (Body, Speech, and Mind), guiding participants to reflect on their actions, words, and thoughts.

The session flow included:
• Check-in activities to build connection and trust
• Facilitation session with meaningful sharing and discussion
• 4-7-8 mindfulness breathing practice to cultivate calmness and awareness

Through these sessions, we hope to plant seeds of mindfulness, responsibility, and inner transformation.

A heartfelt thank you to our dedicated volunteers from Daoist Care Foundation (DCF) who continue to show up with compassion and commitment in our prison outreach programme. Your presence brings hope, encouragement, and a sense of dignity to the inmates as they journey towards change and restoration.

We deeply appreciate our DCF COO Ms Jacqueline Seet, and volunteer Ms Nicole Yap, for taking the time and effort to be there, listening, guiding, and uplifting lives behind the walls. Your service is a powerful reminder that transformation begins with care, patience, and belief in second chances.

Honoured and grateful to be invited by the Singapore Prison Service (SPS) to attend the Prison Service Commissioner’s Change of Command Ceremony held today at Prison HQ.

This meaningful ceremony marks the formal handover of leadership from the outgoing Commissioner, Shie Yong Lee, to the incoming Commissioner, Matthew Wee. The event was graced by the Guest-of-Honour, Pang Kin Keong, Permanent Secretary (Home Affairs).

A privilege to witness this important milestone and the continued commitment of SPS in shaping a safer and more supportive society.

Delighted to have the opportunity for a photo and interaction with Commissioner Shie Yong Lee, together with our newly appointed DCF Chief Operating Officer, Jacqueline Seet.

Wishing both leaders all the best in their continued journey of service and leadership.

Please be advised that as of 23rd March 2026, Mr Lee Chee Tong, Mr Melvin Lee and Master Chung Kwang Tong are no longer volunteers with Daoist Care Foundation Limited. Effective immediately, they are no longer authorised to represent Daoist Care Foundation Limited or use our company logo, brand, or intellectual property in any capacity.
