The choir was named the Seraphim Choir by the first parish priest of Holy Trinity, Fr Paul Tay. Through the years the Seraphim Choir has grown from a meager number of 8 members to a current 50-member ensemble which consists of 45 singers and 5 instrumentalists, with ages ranging from 16 to 60. The majority of choir members have not undergone formal musical training, but the passion and love for si
nging and praising God has always stirred the choir on. It has been the value of serving with our hearts and minds; the practice of constantly praying for goodness and success of one another and the group; and the conscious effort to make time for both spiritual and personal growth that has brought the choir to where it is today. To-date, several members of the ensemble hold more than 10 years of dedicated service.
