In loving remembrance of the 14th Kunzig Shamar Rinpoche, we honor a great master whose wisdom and compassion continue to guide countless beings.

He played a vital role in establishing and nurturing the Karma Kagyud Buddhist Centre, visiting often to offer guidance and blessings so that its mission of benefiting sentient beings through the Dharma could flourish.

Though he entered Parinirvana on 11 June 2014, his enlightened activity endures in his teachings, his students, and the lives he transformed.

His kindness will always be remembered and cherished in our hearts, and his blessings remain with us, illuminating our path with compassion and wisdom.

🌕✨ Vesak Day Celebration at KKBC ✨🌕

On the sacred Vesak Day, we gathered as a community to commemorate the birth, enlightenment, and parinirvana of Lord Buddha. Through prayers, offerings, chanting, and acts of generosity, we rejoiced in the Buddha’s boundless compassion and wisdom.

May the merits accumulated on this auspicious day bring peace, happiness, and blessings to all beings. Let us continue to cultivate loving-kindness, compassion, and wisdom in our daily lives.

🐾✨ Animal Blessing Ceremony on 30 May 2026 ✨🐾

With hearts full of joy and gratitude, we are delighted to share the successful completion of our Animal Blessing ceremony. It was truly heartwarming to see so many beloved pets (and their humans!) gathered together to receive blessings and share in this meaningful occasion. 🐶🐱💖

Thank you to Shangpa Rinpoche and Lama Palbar who conducted Amithayu puja for all the pets and bestowed blessing for their well-being.

A big THANK YOU to all the wonderful pawrents who came down and made this event so special. Your love and dedication to your companions is deeply inspiring. 🙏

May all our furry friends be blessed with good health, protection, and happiness, and may the bond between you and your beloved companions continue to grow with love and compassion.

The 21 Tara Mandala is a sacred arrangement used in Tibetan Buddhist practice to honor the 21 manifestations of Tara l, the female bodhisattva of compassion and swift action. The practice of Tara is considered one of the most accessible and powerful methods in Vajrayana Buddhism.
