đź’› Love in Action Starts with One Visit

On 27 June, our volunteers will begin their journey in the Befriend a Senior programme, building meaningful friendships with seniors in the Balam community.

This isn't about an event.
It's about relationship.

Over the next six months, our Befrienders will be spending time with seniors, listening to their stories, sharing life together, and demonstrating the love of Christ through simple acts of care and presence.

As Jesus taught in Luke 14, God's heart has always been for those who may feel overlooked, forgotten, or alone.

🙏 Please keep our volunteers and seniors in your prayers as this journey begins.

You have never looked into the eyes of someone God does not love.
We don’t gather out of habit. We gather because God is worthy, and because we were created to live in His love.
Before we loved Him,
He loved us first.
And when we truly receive that love…
it changes how we treat people.
Love isn’t just a feeling. It’s patience. Kindness. Choosing grace when it’s hard.
This week:
Rest in His love first.
Then love someone intentionally.
Start small 🤍

From Exodus 14 to the cross, we’re reminded:
What looks like “no way out” is often where God makes a way.
This week, don’t obey panic.
