The Shepherd’s Tabernacle A Reformed - Presbyterian Church The “Tabernacle” refers to the meeting place that God met with His people in ancient time (Revelation 21:3).

We are a Reformed and Presbyterian Church that upholds the Westminster Confession of Faith and Catechism in the eastern part of Singapore. First constituted as “Criswell Tabernacle” in the year 2000, the congregation decided to change the name to “The Shepherd’s Tabernacle” in 2021. It is our prayer that this Church will be a place where people will find Christ and meet with God in peace (1 Timoth

y 3:15).

“The Shepherd’s” refers to the Lord Jesus Christ who is the Good Shepherd (John 10:11) and the Great Shepherd of the sheep of God (Hebrews 13:20), the Church. We exist to glorify God and to enjoy Him forever. The only rule God has given to direct us how we may glorify and enjoy Him forever is the Holy Bible (2 Timothy 3:16-17). Hence, we exist to proclaim and teach the Holy Bible so that people would come to know what they are to believe concerning God and what duty God requires of us. Our Lord has given His people the duty to make disciples in all nations by teaching them to observe all that Christ has commanded as recorded in the Holy Bible (Matthew 28:20). Our Lord tells us, “Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God” (Matthew 4:4). No matter what your church or life experiences may be, we at The Shepherd’s Tabernacle warmly welcome you to join us in the worship and service of the true and living God.

My dear family in Christ,
We will enter the New Year 2021 in a few days. It is the time of the year to make plans and resolutions for the New Year.

As a Church, we would embark on a Bible Reading Plan at the start of a New Year. For the Year 2021, we will use the attached Bible Reading Schedule which has a Companion Guide. There are daily questions to help us understand the Bible passage we are reading for each day. I find this Bible Reading Plan profitable and would like to encourage everyone to use this Bible Reading Plan for the coming New Year.

Please take a look at the attached PDF file. You will find an introduction note on the 5-Day Bible Reading Plan. I hope you will make the effort to familiarise yourselves with the Bible Reading Schedule and the Companion Guide. It has reading scheduled for only 5 days per week in order to provide 2 free days each week for us to rest or catch up with our Bible reading.
