Question: Does God get angry? In the Bible, it’s clear that He does. The Old Testament God is very different from the New Testament God. In the Old Testament, God is an angry God, but in the New Testament, God is a loving God.”

Obviously, this was condemned by the Church. But this idea—that God is cruel in the Old Testament—comes from a wrong reading of the Bible. It’s the exact opposite. Talk 4 explains that the Old Testament does not emphasize God’s anger, but the slowness of His anger.
