It's not uncommon to hear testimonies from missionaries of how societies improved when the Gospel was accepted. Husbands stop cheating. Fathers would take care of their children. Crime becomes almost non-existent.

This is how the verse relates to all of us on Fathers' Day, as God is described as the heavenly Father who invites all of us to accept His love and become His children. Hope you had had a blessed Fathers' Day!

A good reminder for us as the holidays begin:
At first it may feel like freedom and fun to skimp on prayer and neglect the Word. • Don't let summer make your soul shrivel. God made summer as a foretaste of heaven. • Jesus Christ is the refreshing centre of summer. • Do we want Him? That is the question. Christ gives Himself to us in proportion to how much we want His refreshment (Jeremiah 29:13). • What sort of summer mindset is this? It is the mindset of Colossians 3:1-2.

Hebrews 11 contains an impressive but non-exhaustive list of some of the most faithful Christians to have ever lived. Vincent Lim is a name that would fit right in. There are some leaders who inspire such confidence and loyalty that we would follow them no matter what, and he is one of them. To the man who has exemplified for us what it means to follow Christ, blessed belated birthday! :) 🎂🎈

Throwback to Joshua Kooi's sharing: We should be like the two spies that told Moses that they could claim the land God had promised them, and take the “land” that God has promised us. • "Evangelism is loving people in the name of Jesus and pointing others to Him." • How then will they call on Him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in Him of whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone preaching? (Romans 10:14)

Like every great work, evangelism starts with prayer; and "history was made" as FMC YA had their very first prayer walk last Saturday! What a wonderful time it was as we walked around Little India, prayed for the migrant workers, and had the opportunity to speak to some of them. We even enjoyed a little prata too! Looking forward to the upcoming lunch we'll be hosting for them in August!

Mondays sometimes feel dreary especially with school or work. However, as the day ends, let's say a little prayer in our hearts for our week ahead. God will restore our strength and will to live for Him. We do not have to face anything alone. He is there for us always. Have Faith and continue to press on no matter what mountain you may be facing right now. We are all in this together as one community, united for His glory and grace. 🕊

Faith is Acting Even in Lingering Doubt • At the start of the month during our YA gathering, we learnt about obedience in career choices. Obedience is more than just a decision, but also a journey. It starts right now and not a certain future we are looking towards. Let's also remember that we can cultivate this posture of obedience together as one community, with an authentic spirit and trust in our Father. •

Let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another-and all the more as you see the Day approaching.
•
Here's our vision... We hope to be a Young Adult community in Faith Methodist Church with a zeal for growing in the Lord and knowledge of the Word, a passion for reaching out to the lost and serving the needy, and a fire for genuine and vulnerable fellowship within this parish.
•

Hi fellow Young Adults, the monthly YA Gathering for April is taking place on the very first day of the month! That's this coming Saturday! Excited? We know we are. Come join us for a great time of delving into God's word together, as we learn more from Pastor Ray and his panel about obedience in our careers. There will also be a time of fellowship as one Young Adult community. See you there!
