For on this weekend, the punishment of death and judgement for our rebellion we rightly deserved was taken away when Jesus died in our place. Jesus was then raised to life again and now brings forgiveness and new life, so we rejoice for we now have a right standing before God that we could never achieve on our own merit. Join us this weekend in celebration of Christ's work of salvation!

On 24 Mar 2020, MOH advised that all gatherings outside of work and school will be limited to 10 persons or less with effect from 26 Mar 2020, 2359 hrs to 30 Apr 2020. Based on the 24 Mar MOH advisory on tighter measures to minimise further spread of COVID-19, all congregational worship and religious services will be suspended from 26 Mar 2020, 2359 hrs to 30 Apr 2020.

Since our trial of Zoom for our Thursday bible study, we have moved online for our fully digital worship service last weekend! We have been blessed by seeing people online who can not join usually join us in person and were touched by the message of finding rest in the Psalms.

We know this will be trying times when jobs and lives are disrupted, and the norm is no more. Hence it is important for us to maintain our community through regular video calls and texts. If you would like to join us for our Thursday bible studies, Sunday worship service or someone to speak to, drop us a message!

At the same time we are thankful for those at the frontlines fighting COVID 19 and we would like to do our part to support safe distancing measures by keeping our services online until 30 April 2020. We will then review the situation in line with MOH directives.

Dear Friends,

Thank you for joining us today as we celebrated the 42nd year of the founding of Emmanuel Baptist Fellowship. In the past 42 years, there is no doubt that God has fulfilled His wonderful promise in Philippians 4:19 “And my God will supply every need of yours according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus.” But there are three points to note here; namely,

a) Is He your God and mine? Have we truly repented of our sins, believed and received Christ as our own Saviour and Lord?
b) He will supply our needs, not wants. Our heavenly Father knows what we truly need for our physical, spiritual and eternal good.
c) God’s resources and riches are gloriously infinite, while the Philippian Christians had supplied some of Paul’s basic needs according to their limited resources – Paul tells us that God will supply ALL our needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus. There is no limit to God’s giving because He has not kept back His Son Who became a fragrant offering for you and me! You see, we may not know the needs of the future, but He does!

Too often we dwell on the miseries of the past and forget our mercies. But as He supplied EBF through ALL our 42 yesteryears, and satisfied us with His goodness -- He will not withhold any good thing from us in the days to come! He gave us faith to trust Him, promises to plead with Him, and proofs of His care for EBF and provisions we could not even number. Should these thoughts not encourage us to face the days ahead with confidence?

“To our God and Father be glory forever and ever. Amen.” (Phil 4:20)
