How do you respond to biblical scholars who object to your exegesis (or possibly eisegesis) of scriptures?

Be humble, be open minded, challenge your own exegetical bases in view the objections, and systematically review your theological propositions. Revise and respond in good faith where necessary.

In Part 4 of this Wisdom Series, I present to you my exegetical response to a challenge to my definition of "logos" and "sophia" from Part 2 and Part 3.

I hope that this response will not only clarify the teachings in this series, but will also help you embark on your own exegetical responses to challenges and objections towards your entrenched theological belief system.

Do you love life and godliness, desire wealth and longevity, and want to influence peoples and nations, all for the glory of God? If you do, then this wisdom series is for you.

In today's Part 3 of the series, we will discuss one of the four modes of the manifestation of wisdom, which is the Word of wisdom or "logos sophia". This is important if we desire to understand God's hidden wisdom, not just in scriptures but also in our daily walk in Him.

Paul was teaching the Ephesians on how they must take off, according to their former way of life, the old man, who is being destroyed according to deceitful desires, and put on the new man in accordance with God, who is created in righteousness and holiness from the truth. What does it mean for us today?

Also, in our pastoral chat, we questioned and discussed what Christians mean and expect when they want to help the church "realign to be what Jesus intended".
