"He will take many structures down to the studs and others down to the foundation before He begins to build again."

Praise God for the opportunity last Sunday (24 Mar) to share God's heart for the mission field of New Zealand and to challenge our home church, Barker Road Methodist Church in Singapore, to partner with God for His kingdom purposes in Aotearoa. We also had a wonderful time catching up with so many of our dear friends and former co-labourers-in-Christ!

We continue to pray for a mighty outpouring of the Holy Spirit upon this nation that New Zealand will call upon the Name of Jesus Christ as Lord!

As a child of God, Christ lives inside of you and you will never be alone in the storms of life. Jesus is with you through it all. Cry out to Him and trust Him, He will see you through.

Matthew 14:27-32
But immediately Jesus spoke to them, saying, “Be of good cheer! It is I; do not be afraid.”
And Peter answered Him and said, “Lord, if it is You, command me to come to You on the water.”
So He said, “Come.” And when Peter had come down out of the boat, he walked on the water to go to Jesus. But when he saw that the wind was boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink he cried out, saying, “Lord, save me!”
And immediately Jesus stretched out His hand and caught him, and said to him, “O you of little faith, why did you doubt?” And when they got into the boat, the wind ceased.

Jesus said, “Again I say to you that if two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask, it will be done for them by My Father in heaven. For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them.” (Matt 18:19-20)

The power of agreement in prayer must not be taken lightly. It reminds us of the need for believers to continually gather together in one place in prayer, praying out the Father's will as one body and in one Spirit. Praise God for hungry believers who are willing and believing for greater kingdom things to come.

Jesus said, "If anyone thirsts, let him come to Me and drink. He who believes in Me...out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.” (John 7:37-38).

Indeed the Water that Jesus offers to every man is not natural water. It is Living Water that brings LIFE, and all who believe in Jesus can come to Him personally to drink and be filled till overflowing with this living water.

We give glory to God for the RIVER OF LIFE that was present in our midst and all who came thirsty were filled with the Spirit and those who needed a touch from God had a fresh Encounter with Him. We say, "Yes, Lord! Come as a MIGHTY RIVER and FLOOD this city and this nation of NZ with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord to raise up a people who will call upon Your Name!"

At the Empower Night last Friday, we learned that God conceived His plan of redemption even before the foundation of the world, and His plan was the blood covenant. His plan was to enter into an eternal, everlasting covenant of love with man through the blood of His own Son Jesus Christ. Today, all who are in Christ are in covenant with God - it is the new covenant sealed by the blood of Jesus. In this we see God's great love for us for He has chosen to bind Himself in a blood covenant with man, which cannot be broken.

Oh give thanks to the Lord, for He is good; for His steadfast love endures forever! (1 Chron 16:34) And His love was poured out afresh and anew over all who gathered to worship Him.

We give thanks for a 14-year old girl who was baptised with the Holy Spirit and spoke in tongues for the very first time!

We give thanks for restoring hope and faith to those who came discouraged, disappointed and weary.

We give thanks for all who served along with us to make this event a fruitful and God-honouring one! To God be the glory!

'Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us—for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who is hanged on a tree”— so that in Christ Jesus the blessing of Abraham might come to the Gentiles, so that we might receive the promised Spirit through faith.' (Galatians 3:13-14)

The truths of our redemption and what Jesus has done for us in His death, burial, resurrection, and ascension are so powerful. Indeed Jesus has redeemed all believers from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us and all who are in Christ have been set free from the power of sin and death and the works of darkness. We give thanks to God for the amazing work He is doing in the life of each and everyone of our ICM schoolers as they receive revelation about the finished work of Jesus Christ.

Grateful to God for His faithfulness!

By faith we launch our first Empower Night meeting in Auckland. This was a time of gathering for hungry believers from different parts of the body of Christ here to press in to God and allow Him to speak and reveal Himself to us. This was also a time when the sick and the broken came to experience the power of our miracle-working God.

We praise God for bringing people from all walks of life and from the young to the old - babies, toddlers, youth, young adults and the seniors - the Lord brought them all to congregate in one place. We worshiped with ONE VOICE, ONE HEART and as a PEOPLE OF GOD. It was such an awesome time in His manifest presence and we were in awe of our Almighty God who is alive and is the same yesterday, today and forever!

We also give God the glory for healing and ministering to those who came up for prayer. We believe that the message that was shared to awaken love and purpose in these believers has begun the breakthrough in their lives.
