O most holy heart of Jesus, fountain of every blessing, I adore you, I love you, and with lively sorrow for my sins I offer you this poor heart of mine. Make me humble, patient, pure and wholly obedient to your will. Grant, Good Jesus, that I may live in you and for you. Protect me in the midst of danger. Comfort me in my afflictions. Give me health of body, assistance in my temporal needs, your blessing on all that I do, and the grace of a holy death. Amen.

Lord Jesus,
Just as you entered the locked doors of the disciples' fear, step into the locked and anxious spaces of my heart.
Breathe your peace upon me, and let your Holy Spirit fill my life. Cast out my worries and give me the courage to stand strong in my faith.
Open my eyes to your grace, and help me to freely forgive others just as you have forgiven me.
Equip me to be an instrument of your reconciliation and peace in this world. In Your holy name, I pray. Amen

Pentecost Sunday

“Receive the Holy Spirit.” - Saint John 20:22

In today's Gospel, the disciples were behind locked doors because of fear. Then Jesus came and stood among them and said, “Peace be with you.” He showed them His hands and His side, proving that He is the risen Lord.

This moment marks the birth of the Church. The disciples, once afraid, are now being formed as the first community of believers. When Jesus breathed on them, it signified new life. The Holy Spirit is given as God’s gift that restores what sin has damaged and makes the disciples true witnesses of Christ.

Jesus said, “Receive the Holy Spirit.” This is His greatest gift, the very presence of God who sanctifies and strengthens His people. Jesus also gave them authority to forgive sins, showing how much He wants to restore our relationship with God. Through the Spirit, hearts are renewed and brought back to communion with Him.

Pentecost shows that fear and brokenness are not the end. The Holy Spirit brings new life to the Church and to every believer. This same Spirit, received in the sacraments especially Baptism, continues to dwell in us today. We are called to live in this Spirit and bring Christ to others.

Have a blessed Feast of Saint Joseph the Worker!

Today, we honor St. Joseph not only as the humble carpenter of Nazareth, but as a powerful example of what it means to live a life of quiet strength, deep faith, and faithful service. Chosen by God to be the foster father of Jesus Christ and the chaste spouse of the Virgin Mary, Joseph embraced his mission with courage, even when he did not fully understand God’s plan.

In his daily labor, he showed us that work is not just a duty, but a vocation—a way to participate in God’s creation and to provide with love and dignity. Whether our tasks are big or small, seen or unseen, St. Joseph teaches us to do everything with care, honesty, and a heart centered on God. He reminds us that holiness can be found in the ordinary moments of life.

On this special day, may St. Joseph intercede for all workers—for those who are employed, that they may find purpose and fulfillment; for those who are seeking work, that they may be guided to opportunities; and for those who are burdened or weary, that they may find strength and hope. May he protect our families, bless the work of our hands, and help us trust in God’s providence in all things.

Unfailing Prayer to Saint Anthony

O holy St. Anthony, gentlest of saints,
your love for God and charity for His Creatures,
made you worthy, when on earth, to possess miraculous powers.

Miracles on your word,
which you were ever ready to speak for those in trouble or anxiety.
Encouraged by this thought I implore of you to obtain for me (state your requests).
The answer to my prayer may require a miracle, even so, you are the saint of miracles.
O gentle and loving St. Anthony, whose heart was ever full of human sympathy,
whisper my petition into the ears of The Sweet Infant Jesus,
who loved to be folded in your arms;
and the gratitude of my heart will ever be yours.
Amen.

𝗣𝗿𝗮𝘆𝗲𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝗧𝗿𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗶𝗻 𝗚𝗼𝗱’𝘀 𝗠𝗲𝗿𝗰𝘆

Merciful Jesus,
You have said that Your mercy is greater than all my sins and the sins of the whole world.

I come before You with a humble heart, sorry for my failures and weaknesses.
Cleanse me, Lord, and make me new again.

Teach me not to take Your mercy for granted,
but to turn away from sin and walk in Your light each day.

Strengthen me when I am weak,
guide me when I am lost,
and hold me close to Your Sacred Heart.

Jesus, I trust in You.
Amen.

We are Easter people, and Alleluia is our song!

May the joy of the Resurrection fill your heart with fresh hope, deeper faith, and abiding peace. As Christ has risen, may every burden be lifted and every shadow turn into light.

Alleluia! The Lord is truly risen!
