Phra Phrom Four-Faced Buddha 四面佛圣诞

Today is the 9th day of the 11th lunar month the “holy birthday” of Phra Phrom.

It is a Hindu shrine that houses a statue of Phra Phrom, the Thai representation of the Hindu god of creation Brahma. Phra Phrom has since become renowned for bringing good fortune and is popular with both Thais and foreigners from all around the world. Enshrined on November 9, 1956, theErawan Shrine or Tao Maha Phrom (Four-Faced Buddha )is one of the famous shrines in Thailand that attracts numerous devotees from all over the world and tourists every day.

Announcement of Wat Than Thahan (Huai Duan) regarding the postponement of the opening of Wat Than Thahan (Huai Duan) due to the epidemic situation of COVIT-19 virus infection, there is still an epidemic and high risk to prevent and control the epidemic. COVIT-19 and strictly complying with the measures of the Ministry of Public Health, therefore, Than Thahan Temple (Huai Duan), Than Thahan Subdistrict, Nong Bua District, Nakhon Sawan Province, would like to announce to postpone the opening of the temple from June 15, BE 2564 to July 7, BE2564 in order to prevent the temple as a gathering place for people who may have come from the red area to enter the area and prevent the epidemic from spreading to the temple.
