If you get a different me, it’s because I finally saw the real you—the unguarded corners, the imperfect honesty, the quiet moments when your true colors peek through. The revelation isn’t about deceit or betrayal; it’s a drift from illusion to clarity. When the mask slips, I’m faced with a choice: cling to the fantasy or grow with the person you actually are. In recognizing the real you, I’m also recognizing the real me—the one who dares to see, accept, and be changed by the truth. ‭‭

Write down all the great things about everyone you know. Make a huge list of all the wonderful things about you. Compliment people wherever you go. Praise every single thing you see. Be a ray of sunshine to everyone you meet, and make their day better for having seen you. Say "Thank you" at every turn. Walk, talk, think, and breathe appreciation and gratitude. When you do this, your outer life will change to reflect your inner state of being.

I learned the hard way that I cannot always count on others to respect my feelings, even if I respect theirs. Being a good person doesn't guarantee that others will be good people, too. You only have control over yourself and how you choose to be as a person. As for others, you can only choose to accept them or walk away.

Where you are today is a reflection of where you were. An image of time that touched so many lives, experienced so many joys, and struggled through so many lows. You've walked through peaks and valleys and come to learn that life is a neverending circle of growth lead by choices, decisions, and lessons. Getting by is never an option, because pushing farther and harder will be the best mindset for realizing your greatest self. Never stop reaching, never stop believing and expecting that your life is designed and created by your every move with purpose. Move fearlessly, move big, move with pride.

Don't torture yourself trying to make someone see something they cannot see, or believe something they do not believe. Just stay true to your vision for yourself. Real love is opening your heart to the unlovable. Real gratitude is giving thanks when things aren't perfect. Real generosity is sharing when you have very little. Real courage makes the 'impossible' - possible, with real faith.

Does redirection bring us to the place where we truly belong? If you are facing an unexpected change in life, a new path or a new direction, it is probably because you are being led there by the higher power. Many times the course of our life changes unexpectedly. The change always brings a disturbance and chaos and we wonder why it ever happened. When we reach the end of that course, we realise, we had a bigger purpose. Our presence was needed more over there than anywhere else. There might people who needed you and lives that were meant to be guided by you. Nothing happens by chance, there is a reason that we don't always see. Sometimes the redirection is to bring us to the new world and other times we are meant to change someone else's world.

Proverbs 20:24 [NKJV]
"A man’s steps are of the Lord; How then can a man understand his own way?"

No one wants to be the fool who keeps going back to the same person, place or thing that made their circumstances sick to begin with. But the reality is, we've all been that foolish over someone or something. It's time to give yourself a reality check. If God brought you out of it, what made you get wrapped up in it again? If He created an escape route, why are you back at the entrance looking for a way in again? Have you not gone thru enough? Do you really need to relive the past and it's pain? Or are you prepared to burry it this time? Yes it's time to burry something that God has been trying to bring you out of. And this time throw away the shovel. Too often we keep the shovel to dig up old issues. Live in the new, don't let your past bury you.

Choose to live in joy. Life goes by in the blink of an eye. It's too short to live upset, angry, resentful or ungrateful. If you look for the good, you'll find it. Choose to be happy, to be at peace. Decide that each day is going to be a great day and grab each moment and make the best of it. Refuse to let negative thoughts take root in your mind and refuse to let negative people and situations drag you down. Trust your journey and know that if you make a mistake, it's okay. See it as a lesson learned and keep moving forward. Spend less time worrying and more time being grateful for those who love you and all of life's goodness.

John 16:22 [NKJV]
"Therefore you now have sorrow; but I will see you again and your heart will rejoice, and your joy no one will take from you."

You never know what someone is dealing with behind closed doors. No matter how happy someone looks, how loud their laugh is or how big their smile is, there can always be a level of indescribable hurt. So be kind, even when others are not.

Sometimes we need a bridge and sometimes we are the bridge. No one I know has escaped troubled waters, rough seas, and challenging scary days. There are times in our lives when we can use a little help, and other times when we are given the chance to be that help for someone else. It really doesn't matter where you are right now. What matters is that you remember we are stronger together, and taking a hand is just as important as offering one.

Hebrews 13:16 [NKJV]
"But do not forget to do good and to share, for with such sacrifices, God is well pleased."

Your new life is going to cost you your old one. It's going to cost you your comfort zone and your sense of direction. It's going to cost you relationships and friends. It's going to cost you being liked, and understood. But it doesn't matter. Because the people who are meant for you are going to meet you on the other side. And you're going to build a new comfort zone around the things that actually move you forward. And instead of liked, you're going to be loved. Instead of understood, you're going to be seen. All you're going to lose is what was built for a person you no longer are. Let it go.

Life changes so quickly. We can be happy one day, empty and broken the next. If we learn anything from this pandemic, I hope it is to value the moments, treasure the memories, and hold onto what counts. Make time each day to realize how fleeting life is and to thank God for each blessing. Maybe this pandemic will teach us to slow down, appreciate what we have and how quickly it can be gone. My prayer is that it will. Life is a gift.
