On Vision Sunday, we reflected on the story of the boy with five loaves and two fishes (John 6:1–14), where Jesus fed the five thousand. This passage reminds us that when we willingly offer our lives in sacrifice, surrendering our time, resources, and talents. God transforms the ordinary into the extraordinary. He alone creates miracles, yet He also works through us to bring them to life.

Our 2026 theme is: Step Up and Serve with What We Have.

It is a call for each of us to rise with our gifts, time, and resources, trusting that even the smallest offering, when surrendered to Him, becomes a powerful catalyst for His kingdom.

This tradition beautifully embodies the themes of light overcoming darkness, hope fulfilled, and community united in worship.

[ SuperSat ]

What an amazing and wonderful SuperSat Intro Day we had with all of you last weekend❣️

The beautiful Saturday morning started with guests, families, parents and children having a scrumptious breakfast together 🥰 It was a joy to see every one of different ages bonding over a meal ❤️

With our lovely hosts for the day - Sheh Meng & Sharon, we got to know each other better playing bingo, had a morning karaoke time singing some pop songs and watched a short video that explores the meaning of life 😌🎤🎶

The young ones had a fun time at our SuperSat enrichment classes taught by Teacher Kai, Teacher Cassandra and Teacher Siti! The children got to try out some sensory fun with sand art, danced to music rhythm in locking dance and tried their hand at ukulele 🎶💕 We loved seeing all of your smiles and focus trying out a new hobby! Good job children! 🤩🤩

“Our Youth Fellowship recently had the privilege of going for a mission trip together, and we are really grateful for this opportunity to serve the community overseas.

Despite facing a rough journey, I was greatly encouraged by how all our youths remained positive and energetic, serving so joyfully and wholeheartedly. We read bible stories to the children and taught them crafts. Despite the language barrier, it was heartwarming to see everyone enjoying themselves.

The joy and appreciation from the children for all the little things they received reflects their deep love and gratitude for God which is both humbling and inspiring. It reminded me of how privileged I am and how I should be learning from their thankful and joyful attitudes as well.

Overall, this mission trip has been a time of learning and growth. Just as how Jesus came to serve, we are also called to serve and love His people. Regardless of our backgrounds, we are all one body of Christ. I hope that the villagers remember God’s enduring love for them and I look forward to continue serving the community together, to be a blessing to the people around us!” ❤️

[ Youth Sunday ]

Last two Sunday services were very special for us! Our youths from the English and Mandarin congregations rose to the occasion to lead our services with the guidance of our QLC pastoral team 😌🌱

It was really encouraging to see the youths rise up to serve in the various areas of preaching, worship, ushering and multimedia 🕊️🙏🌱🌱

Thank you dearest youths for your service of love to the QLC family! You are a blessing and a precious gift to the body of Christ. We love and appreciate all of you so much ❤️

[ June 2025 Camp Retreat ]

The QLC family recently enjoyed a wonderful time of refreshing from 11 to 14 June at Desaru. ‘Retreat’ is a time where we set aside yearly to relax and recharge our spirits so that we can continue to journey life and serve with greater passion and clarity ❤️‍🔥🌱

We are grateful to all our retreat speakers: Rev. Philip, Rev Matthew, Rev Alvin, Jolynn and Derek who took time to share God’s message with our English & Chinese congregations, youth and children. It was a meaningful time of learning with one another and we explored what it means to be called to serve 🙏😌

Every retreat is special for the QLC family as we get to know each other better through our team group discussions, fellowship, bonding over food and games! 🤩 Our hearts are full and we look forward to our next retreat where we can grow as a family; most importantly learn more about Jesus’s love for us and experience God’s goodness in our lives ❤️

Baptism is a symbol of Christ’s burial and resurrection. The water baptism identifies us with Christ’s death on the cross, His burial in the tomb and His resurrection from the dead.

On this joyous occasion, we rejoice and celebrate with Andreana, Yao Han, Su Lan and Yi Feng as they make a step of faith to commit their lives to Jesus! Welcome to the QLC family ✝️❤️
