So I've been putting this off for a while because I really don't want to do it, but I have an unfortunate announcement to make. Effective today, I'm semi-retiring this page— not giving up on it completely, but I'll be posting a lot less frequently.

The 2+ years I've ran this autistic little page have been great fun. I love how people all over the world not only react to the meme garbage I spew out, but also the interactions I've had with you guys in the comments. I had no idea a niche Lutheran (S)weeb sh*tposting page like this would have such a dedicated audience, I thought it would maybe be fifty at most. But almost 370 of you follow this thing! Some of you came for another Lutheran meme page, some of you came for the anime, some of you came for the random crap, but whatever it is, you stayed and made this project the better for it. I hope I've been able to make you laugh, but also given you quality Christian content as well.

The problem is, though, that I'm about to move across the country, I'm going to have a lot less free time, and I'm gearing up to head to the seminary eventually. As such, I'm going to be spending much less time on socials and far more on my studies, Scripture, and prayer. Please pray for me as I get ready for this! I really do feel my own unworthiness the more I commit to this calling, but we have so few pastors and so few men stepping up... so, God willing, I'll be His instrument. I have a ways to go, but it's definitely on the horizon! Any prayer for my steadfastness in faith and devotion is certainly appreciated.

I'll still come back to update this page every now and then, as I have time and as the mood strikes me. You guys are great, and I don't want to abandon you. I just won't be in your feed every day. But rest assured, Carolean Mai-chan is not dead. Only sleeping.

The Prophecy for the Fourteenth Sunday after Trinity is written in the Book of Proverbs, the 4th chapter:

Hear, my son, and receive my sayings,
And the years of your life will be many.
I have taught you in the way of wisdom;
I have led you in right paths.
When you walk, your steps will not be hindered,
And when you run, you will not stumble.
Take firm hold of instruction, do not let go;
Keep her, for she is your life.
Do not enter the path of the wicked,
And do not walk in the way of evil.
Avoid it, do not travel on it;
Turn away from it and pass on.
