It's been snowing quite a bit the last few days. Temperatures are around and just under zero, so this is very sticky snow. With all the snow sticking to our snowshoes a hike is pretty challenging. The trees look so very beautifull when they are civered in snow and it feels really magical to walk between them. These are hard times for them; the snow us very heavy and the flexible branches and the young trees can not manage to stand straight.
The low sun makes it look like the trees are on fire sometimes.

Cold = beautifull 😍

A cold night is followed by a crispy morning. Temperature outside -19°C.
There is no real snow yet but our surroundings are white and magical. Icecrystals are growing like they are some kinds of flowers. Winter sure is magical over here.
Luckily we have enough firewood to.last us two winters, so inside it is already nice and toasty.

After a night of stunning northern lights, the day greeted us with crisp cold air and beautiful winter sunlight.
For us, that means heading outside to soak up every ray of sunlight and enjoy the little layer of snow before darkness returns again.

Happy Spring Equinox 🌞

We have had a lot of sun the past few days and it really feels like spring, although there is still a lot of snow here at Jep's Place.

Ostara celebrates the spring equinox. Ostara comes from the Anglo-Saxon goddess Eostre and represents spring and new beginnings.
Ostara symbolizes fertility, rebirth, and renewal.

Of course and will dedicate the coming Women Wisdom Circle not only to the Libra Full Moon, but also to Ostara. Full of new beginnings and balance.
