The Charis Church, Sweden Raising mature believers through the preaching and teaching of Jesus and His finished work and the demonstrations of the Spirit

No matter what the devil condemns you of, the truth is that the blood of Jesus has been shed for the forgiveness of all your sins.

There is not a sin, not one iota of guilt or condemnation that the devil can throw at you today that Jesus' blood has not completely removed.

As believers, the life we live is a talkative one. We speak, we confess. We speak and we confess. We create with our mouths!

As believers, we share same level of Faith. Mine isn't greater than yours. Your pastor's own isn't greater than yours. All you need do is increase in more walks of Faith. C'est fini.

To know who God really is to learn to know who Christ really is because Jesus is the perfect representation of God.

No man hath seen God at any time, the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him.
John:1:18

This truth cannot be overemphasized.

No man has seen God.

Whatever Moses and the Prophets said about God must be validated by Jesus.

Thee could be some pockets of truth here and there in the Old testament. But some of their opinions then were based on their perception of God's personality.

Anything that does not fit into the picture of God as given to us by Jesus must be discarded.

Jesus is the only one who can tell us exactly who the Father is.

Philip saith unto him, Lord, shew us the Father, and it sufficeth us.
John:14:8
Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father?
John:14:9
Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works.
John:14:10

Philip asked Jesus to show them the Father, but Jesus told him point blank that anyone who has seen Him, has seen the Father.

He is the revelation and sole custodian of the Father.

Anything that is not about Jesus is not about God because Jesus is the face of God.

To know the Father's character, see Jesus Character.

To know whether the Father gets angry or not, see Jesus' behaviour.

Jesus reveals God.

If you remove Jesus from the Bible, what you have left is a collection of irrelevant poems, and historical events.

Jesus is the life of the Bible.

Luke 13:11
And behold, there was a woman who had a spirit of infirmity eighteen years, and was bent over and could in no way raise herself up.

Imagine being bowed over for 18 years. All you would see is the dust on the ground. That was the predicament of the woman in Luke 13. Dust was all her eyes fell on, all the time, everywhere she went, until she became dust-conscious. Thank God she finally saw the beautiful feet of Jesus, who brought her good news and raised her up.

Now, dust is the devil’s food. The Bible tells us that God cursed the devil to eat dust all the days of his life. (Genesis 3:14) Dust represents death. (Genesis 3:19) The devil wants you to be like him—to fall flat on your belly, crawl and eat dust. To eat dust is to feed on your shortcomings and lack, until you constantly feel that there is so much in your life that you need to clean up. You may not be physically bowed over, but like the woman, you become dust-conscious and life every day is a struggle.

Having a dust-consciousness also affects the way you see others. You look at people’s faults all the time. You point out their shortcomings and rake up their past failures. When you are dust-conscious, you find your relationships robbed of peace and joy.

And if you, like the woman, keep looking at the dust, before long, that inward position of dust-consciousness becomes so entrenched that you become the devil’s food because dust is what he eats. God’s Word describes him as being like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. (1 Peter 5:8)

If you don’t want to be devoured by him, then lift your eyes above the dust! Instead of looking at your failures, look to Christ who has delivered you from every defeat. See yourself the way God sees you—righteous and holy in Christ. (Colossians 3:12; 2 Corinthians 5:21) You are not dust because you are not in and of the flesh—you are in and of the Spirit. (Romans 8:9)

My friend, the more you realize who you are in Christ, the more you will straighten up and walk the way God sees you—a new creation with His authority, power and overcoming Spirit!

In Him we have redemption, forgiveness of sins and Eternal Life.

Jesus Christ, the one who took away our sins so we can be called Saints and live Eternally.

The key to living with greater confidence and boldness is knowing, first and foremost, that all your sins are forgiven. Today, as a beloved child of God, know that your heavenly father is not angry with you. He is not mad at you. All your sins have been judges and punished in the body of Jesus at the cross.

Do you have this assurance that all your sins have been forgiven? There are many believers battling guilt, fear and condemnation because they are not confident that ALL their sins have been forgiven once and for all. They inadvertently hide from their heavenly Father when they fail, instead of coming boldly to His throne of grace to obtain mercy and fine grace to help them when they need it the most (Heb. 4:16). They hide, as Adam and Eve hid in the garden of Eden, downcast with shame and fear.

CONFESSIONS FOR THE MONTH OF MAY

Father in the name of Jesus, we confess the Word of God dwells in us richly. Your Word shall not depart from out of our mouths. We mediate in your Word day and night. We diligently act on your Word; therefore, we are prosperous and have good success. We exalt and esteem your Word.

We give the Word first place in our lives. We make our schedule around Your Word! Your Word is Truth and forever settled in Heaven; therefore, we establish Your Word upon this Earth. Your Word is a lamp to our feet and a light to our path. It is quick and powerful and sharper than a two-edged sword. We plant the Incorruptible Seed of Your Word in our hearts. It is abiding in our spirits, growing in us mightily, and producing Your nature in our lives.

Satan we bind you. We will not allow you to steal, hinder, or cause us to reject the Word of God. We have life, happiness, joy, and peace because we believe with our hearts and say with our mouths, "The Word of God is the answer."
