The Holy Cross is more than a reminder of Christ’s suffering; it is the greatest revelation of God’s endless mercy and unfailing love. Upon the Cross, our Lord Jesus Christ embraced the pain of the world so that we might receive forgiveness, healing, and everlasting life. Every time we look upon the Cross, we are invited to remember that love is stronger than hatred, light is stronger than darkness, and Christ is stronger than death. 🤎🙏🏻

In the Syriac Orthodox Church, the Holy Cross is carried with reverence because it proclaims the victory of our Savior. It teaches us humility when we are proud, gives us courage when we are afraid, and reminds us that no burden is carried alone when Christ walks with us. Even in our deepest struggles, the Cross assures us that God has not abandoned His children but remains with them every step of the way.

May we never be ashamed of the Holy Cross, but embrace it with faith and gratitude, allowing it to shape our hearts each day. Through the Cross, we learn to love, to forgive, and to trust in God’s perfect will. For where the Cross stands, there is hope; where Christ is present, there is life. 🤎🙏🏻

The Cross is not merely a symbol, it is the sign of God’s love for humanity. Through the crucifixion and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ, the path to salvation, hope, and eternal life was opened for us. Whenever we wear the Cross, make the sign of the Cross, or pray before it, we are reminded of Christ’s victory over sin and death. 🤎🙏🏻

In the Syriac Orthodox tradition, the Cross stands as a living testimony to God’s presence in our lives. It strengthens us in times of trial, comforts us in suffering, and guides us when the path ahead seems difficult.

As we celebrated Pentecost this past Sunday, we were reminded of the descent of the Holy Spirit upon the Apostles, empowering them to proclaim the Gospel to the world. The same Holy Spirit continues to work within the Church and within every believer today, helping us carry our cross with faith, love, and perseverance. 🤎🙏🏻

May the Holy Cross always remain our hope, our guide, and our victory in Christ. ✝️🕊️

Last Friday, some of our amazing Melthodhaye family together with our Spiritual father Samuel gathered for a blessed lunch at - hosted by the best: before heading to the gathering at SOUF St Gabriel Norrköping. 🤎

During lunch, we had inspiring conversations about many exciting projects ahead of us. 😍
