- Att vara ett centrum för buddhister i Skåne och dess närheter.
- Att vara ett centrum för religiösa möten och högtidliga ceremonier.
- Att vara ett centrum för thailändsk konst, kultur och tradition.
- Att främja och vägleda dhamma i vardagslivet.
- Att stödja undervisningsverksamhet för barn och ungdom med thailänsk anknytning.
- Att vara ett centrum där thailändare kan träffas och alla som vill besöka templet.

During the year 2005 Mrs. However, lack of municipal water and sanitation would incur additional costs if we were to build there. In 2006, we found out that this property, owned by a Thai / Swedish family, was for sale. We saw the opportunity to create a temple in southern Sweden. Therefore it was decided to purchase the property. The temple has been rebuilt by Thai Buddhists, and their partners living in southern Sweden. We have received help from the monks of Wat Pa in Copenhagen under the direction of AbbotPhar Kru Somsak, who holds the strings. Wat Sanghabaramee will be one of the Thai-Buddhist temples in Europe that can receive diplomatic monks (Dhamma Yot) from Thailand. Wat Sanghabaramee is led by Prakro Sangkharag Tongchai Suphachayo, since October 19, 2006.

พระครูพิเนตศาสนคุณ (สมศักดิ์ กนฺตสีโล) เจ้าอาวาสวัดป่าโคเปนเฮเกน ประเทศเดนมาร์ก และคณะสงฆ์ พุทธศาสนิกชน (ส่วนใหญ่เป็นคนไทย) ที่พำนักอยู่ในประเทศสวีเดน บริเวณตอนใต้ (Skåne) ประกอบด้วย Helsingborg , Malmö, Lund, Höör, Eslöv เป็นต้น ได้ร่วมกันดำเนินการ
วัดสังฆบารมี
เป็นวัด ที่ตั้งมั่นคงถาวรอีกแห่งหนึ่งของ คณะสงฆ์ธรรมยุต ในสหภาพยุโรป และ ของสำนักฝึกอบรม พระธรรมทูตไปต่างประเทศ (ธรรมยุต) คณะสงฆ์ไทย เป็นกำลังสำคัญแห่งหนึ่ง ในการเผยแผ่พระพุทธศาสนา ทั้ง เป็นสถานที่ที่คนไทย ได้มีโอกาสแสดงออกถึง ความเป็นไทย ในด้าน ขนบธรรมเนียม ประเพณี และ วัฒนธรรมเป็นสถานที่ ช่วยเพิ่มขวัญกำลังใจ เป็นที่พึ่งพิงทางจิตใจ ตลอดถึง เป็นสถานที่ ที่บรรดาสาธุชนทั้งชาวไทย และ ชาวต่างประเทศโดยทั่วไป ได้ใช้ เป็นที่เสริมสร้างปัญญาบารมี สืบต่อไป
