BREAKING NEWS | The management of Masjid Al Nabawi announces its plans to receive worshippers in Ramadan 1442:

- Masjid Al Nabawi will close‬⁩ half an hour after Taraweeh prayer, and will reopen two hours before the Fajr prayer (except for the last ten days of Ramadan: 24/7).

- The total capacity of worshippers in Ramadan will be 60,000 worshippers at one time under social distancing measures (inside and outside the masjid).

- Praying in the Rawdah will be reserved for Imams, workers, and funeral attendees.

- Worshippers will be allowed to pray in the masjid, outside and on the roof. It will be regularly inspected.

🌷🌷🌷 The Rebuilding of the Kabah Shareef 🌷🌷🌷

A ship belonging to a Greek merchant had been driven ashore by rough seas at Jeddah and had been broken to pieces. They took its timbers and prepared them for use in roofing over the Kabah Shareef. There was a Copt in Mecca Mukarramah Shareef who was a carpenter, and thus they had both the materials for restoring it and a craftsman ready and at hand. There was a snake which used to come out of the well in the Kabah Shareef into which votive objects were thrown, and which would lie on top of the Kabah Shareef wall every day. People were afraid of it because whenever anyone went near it it would draw itself up, make a rustling noise, and open its mouth. One day, as it was lying on top of the Kabah Shareef as usual, Allah sent against it a bird which seized it and carried it off. On seeing this, the Quraysh said, “We may hope that Allah is pleased with what we intend to do. We have a companion who is a craftsman and we have timber, while Allah has dealt with the snake for us.
