Don’t be too proud of what you have today, whether it’s money, a loving family, good health, a successful career, or parents who are still here.

You never know what tomorrow holds.

The things you have today are blessings from Allah, not something you are guaranteed to keep forever. So be grateful for them, enjoy them, and never look down on someone who doesn’t have what you have.

The person you see struggling today might have something tomorrow that you never expected. And the life you think is secure today can change in ways you never saw coming.

Allah can change our circumstances in a moment.

So stay humble. Be grateful. Be kind to people, especially those who have less than you.

You could be on the other side tomorrow. 🤍

The story brings tears to the heart 🫀

When I was a kid, Mum liked to make food for dinner & I remember one night in particular when she had made dinner after a long, hard day at work. On that evening, Mum placed a bowl of mince keema and extremely burned chappatis in front of my dad. I remember waiting to see if anyone noticed! Yet, all my dad did was reach for his chappatis, smiled at my Mum and asked me how my day was at school. I don't remember what I told him that night, but I do remember hearing my Mum apologise to my dad for burning the chappatis. And I'll never forget what he said: "Honey, I love burned chappatis.

Later that night, I went to kiss Daddy good night and I asked him if he really liked his chappatis burned. He wrapped me in his arms and said, "Your mum had a long hard day at work today and she's really tired. And besides... A burnt chappati never hurt anyone but harsh words do!

You know, life is full of imperfect things...and imperfect people. I'm not the best. What I've learned over the years is that learning to accept each others faults and choosing to celebrate each others differences, is one of the most important keys to creating a healthy, growing and lasting relationship. So...please pass me a chappati. And yes, the burnt one will do just fine! And please pass this along to someone who has enriched your life...I just did!

Life is too short to wake up with regrets... Love the people who treat you right and have compassion for the ones who don't.
