[ Short Dhikr after every Fardh Salah ]

Abu Hurairah (radiya Allah anhu) narrated that the Messenger of Allah *ﷺ* said:

*Whoever recites after every salah :*

*_33_ × سبحان الله* _Subhan Allah_

*_33_ × الحمد لله* _Alhamdu lillah_

*_33_ × الله أكبر* _Allah hu akbar_

*Totaling _99_, and then completes the _100_ with*

*لا إله إلا الله وحده لا شريك له له الملك وله الحمد وهو على كل شيء قدير*
_La ilaaha illallahu wahdahu la sharika lahu lahul mulk wa lahul hamdu wa huwa a'la kulli shay in qadeer_

*All his sins will be forgiven even though they may be _(as great in number)_ like the foam of the ocean.*

Al-Hajj 22:5-7

أعوذ بالله من الشيطان الرجيم
بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

(5) يَآأَيُّهَا ٱلنَّاسُ إِن كُنتُمۡ فِي رَيۡبࣲ مِّنَ ٱلۡبَعۡثِ فَإِنَّا خَلَقۡنَٰكُم مِّن تُرَابࣲ ثُمَّ مِن نُّطۡفَةࣲ ثُمَّ مِنۡ عَلَقَةࣲ ثُمَّ مِن مُّضۡغَةࣲ مُّخَلَّقَةࣲ وَغَيۡرِ مُخَلَّقَةࣲ لِّنُبَيِّنَ لَكُمۡۚ وَنُقِرُّ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡحَامِ مَا نَشَآءُ إِلَىٰٓ أَجَلࣲ مُّسَمࣰّى ثُمَّ نُخۡرِجُكُمۡ طِفۡلࣰا ثُمَّ لِتَبۡلُغُوٓاْ أَشُدَّكُمۡۖ وَمِنكُم مَّن يُتَوَفَّىٰ وَمِنكُم مَّن يُرَدُّ إِلَىٰٓ أَرۡذَلِ ٱلۡعُمُرِ لِكَيۡلَا يَعۡلَمَ مِنۢ بَعۡدِ عِلۡمࣲ شَيۡئࣰاۚ وَتَرَى ٱلۡأَرۡضَ هَامِدَةࣰ فَإِذَآ أَنزَلۡنَا عَلَيۡهَا ٱلۡمَآءَ ٱهۡتَزَّتۡ وَرَبَتۡ وَأَنۢبَتَتۡ مِن كُلِّ زَوۡجِۭ بَهِيجࣲ

(6) ذَٰلِكَ بِأَنَّ ٱللَّهَ هُوَ ٱلۡحَقُّ وَأَنَّهُۥ يُحۡيِ ٱلۡمَوۡتَىٰ وَأَنَّهُۥ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيۡءࣲ قَدِيرࣱ

(7) وَأَنَّ ٱلسَّاعَةَ ءَاتِيَةࣱ لَّا رَيۡبَ فِيهَا وَأَنَّ ٱللَّهَ يَبۡعَثُ مَن فِي ٱلۡقُبُورِ

(5) O people, if you should be in doubt about the Resurrection, then [consider that] indeed, We created you from dust, then from a sperm-drop, then from a clinging clot, and then from a lump of flesh, formed and unformed - that We may show you.

And We settle in the wombs whom We will for a specified term, then We bring you out as a child, and then [We develop you] that you may reach your [time of] maturity.

And among you is he who is taken in [early] death, and among you is he who is returned to the most decrepit [old] age so that he knows, after [once having] knowledge, nothing.

And you see the earth barren, but when We send down upon it rain, it quivers and swells and grows [something] of every beautiful kind.

(6) That is because Allāh is the True Reality and because He gives life to the dead and because He is over all things competent

(7) And [that they may know] that the Hour is coming - no doubt about it - and that Allāh will resurrect those in the graves.

Shaykh ibn Uthaymeen (rahimahullah) said: “ It is from wisdom that a person performs the optional prayers in his home, so his children can see and learn from him, and so the womenfolk can follow his example. Also this is so his house does not become a grave in which there is no prayer prayed therein.”

What To Say When You Enter An Empty House

From Nāfi' who narrated that 'Abdullāh Ibn 'Umar Raḍi-Allāhu 'Anhumā said: “When you enter a which is uninhabited then say: 'Assalaamu 'Alainaa Wa 'Alaa 'Ibaadillaahiṣ Ṣaaliḥeen' (Peace be upon us and upon the righteous slaves of Allāh).”

A may be by all sorts of like , lack of income, from his , etc.

The many afflictions that may beset a person are incalculable. Every one of us is being tested by ALLĀH. HE tests us all in different ways, ALLĀH said:

“Do people think once they say, 'We believe,' that they will be left without being put to the test?” {al-Ankaboot:1}

“We will certainly test you...” [al-Baqarah:155]

A believer is bound to be tested. Therefore, we should not blindly assume that the difficulties we face in life are punishments or signs that ALLĀH is displeased with us. Likewise, we should never construe the success and pleasures that others enjoy as signs that ALLĀH is pleased with them or that they are privileged. Sometimes, the opposite could be true.

Anas ibn Malik reported: The Messenger of ALLĀH ﷺ said, “If ALLĀH wills goodness for HIS servant, HE hastens his punishment in this world. If ALLĀH wills to harm HIS servant, HE withholds punishment for his sins until he arrives on the Day of Resurrection. Verily, with greater rewards come greater trials. If ALLĀH loves a people, HE afflicts them with trials. Whoever is content will be given contentment, and whoever is displeased will be given displeasure.”
[al-Tirmidhi‌ 2396]

This is what gives contentment and composure to the believer’s heart, and acceptance of what must be endured in life. It is only this consideration that provides a balanced view of life, and through which, much wisdom of what takes place in the world becomes evident.

Abu Sa'eed Al-Khudri (radiya Allah anhu) reports that the Messenger of Allah *ﷺ* said,

"Allah, the Rabb of honour and glory, will say to the inhabitants of Jannah: `O inhabitants of Jannah!'

They will respond: `Here we are! At Your service, O our Rabb. All good is in Your Hand!'

Allah will ask them: `Are you pleased?'

They will reply: `Why should we not be pleased, O Rabb, when You have given us what You have not given to any of Your other creation?'

Allah will say: `Shall I not give you something better than that?'

They will ask: `O Rabb! What can be better than that?'

Allah will say: `I shall bestow My Pleasure upon you and I shall never be displeased with you."

Allah concludes surah al-Mu'minoon [23] with the following command:

[وَقُل رَّبِّ اغْفِرْ وَارْحَمْ وَأَنتَ خَيْرُ الرَّاحِمِينَ ‎]

"And say: Lord, forgive me and have mercy on me, and You are the best of those who are merciful." [118]

Commenting on this, al-haafidh ibn Kathir wrote:

[هذا إرشادٌ من الله إلى هذا الدعاء، فالغفر -إذا أُطلق- معناه: محو الذنب ستره عن الناس، والرحمة معناها: أن يسدِّده ويوفقه في الأقوال الأفعال]

This is guidance from Allah to make this supplication. And when the word al-ghafr - "forgiveness" - is mentioned in this type of unrestricted way, it means: erasing the sins and concealing them from others. And the meaning of al-rahmah is: that He would enable and facilitate a person to say and do what is right.
