Imam Bukhari (رحمه الله) has brought few ahadeeth under a chapter called saying of Aameen loud by Imam and separate chapter for the followers in his Sahih al-Bukhari. Usually, the name of the chapter, gives us a hint of their understanding, and what they intend to convey, using the ahadeeth under that chapter.

Chapter: Saying of Aameen ALOUD by the followers

Narrated Abu Huraira [‫رضى الله عنه] Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "Say Aameen when the Imaam says 'Ghairi l-maghdubi `alaihim wala d-daalleen' (not the path of those who earn Your Anger (such as Jews) nor of those who go astray (such as Christians)); all the past sins of the person whose saying (of Amin) coincides with that of the angels, will be forgiven".

*Reference: Sahih al-Bukhari 782*

It was narrated from ‘Aishah (رضي الله عنها) that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: “The Jews do not envy you for anything more than they envy you for the Salam and (saying) ‘Amin’.”

Grade: Sahih

Recite this regularly with intention for whatever you need from Allah and remember our sins block our dua reaching ALLAH Azzawajal.

It was also narrated from Jaabir ibn ‘Abd-Allaah that the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “Whoever says when he hears the call to prayer: ‘Allaahumma Rabba haadhihi’l-da'awat il-taammah wa's-salaat il-qaa’imah, aati Muhammadnil waseelata wa’l-fadeelah, wab’athhu maqaaman mahmoodan illadhi wa’adtah (O Allaah, Lord of this perfect call and the prayer to be offered, grant Muhammad the privilege (of intercession) and also the eminence, and resurrect him to the praised position that You have promised),’ my intercession for him will be permitted on the Day of Resurrection.” (Narrated by al-Bukhaari, 589). learn to recite it properly through this YouTube link, please. https://youtu.be/R-LaWK7NyA0.

THE POWER OF THE QUR'AN

The recitation of the Qur’an is surely full of blessings and a great act of reward. It can be recited for whatever reason one desires, such as seeking blessings, attaining Baraka, and obtaining success in some matter. Qur’an is a source of guidance for the bewildered, remedy for the ailing, healing for the spiritually diseased and a code of life for whole of humanity.

ALLAH Most High says:
“HE send down in the Qur’an that which is a healing and a mercy to those who believe. To the unjust it causes nothing but loss after loss.” (al-Isra, 82).
AND ALLAH says:
“O mankind! There has come to you a direction from your lord (Qur’an) and a healing for the (diseases) in your hearts, and for those who believe guidance and a mercy.” (Surah Yunus, 57)
And again ALLAH says:
“Say to mankind: The Qur’an is a guide and a healing to those who believe.” (Surah Fussilat, 44). Thus, there is no reason why one should not recite the book of ALLAH, partly or completely (khatm) in order to receive the assistance and blessings of ALLAH Almighty. This should also be coupled with respect and acting upon the injunctions of the Qur’an.

Student of knowledge .

Ibn Qutaiba
said: "In the past a student of knowledge would listen to learn, and learn to act, and gain understanding of the religion in order to benefit himself and others. But now it has become such that they listen (only) in order to accumulate, and they accumulate (only) in order to be mentioned, and they memorise in order to overcome (others) and boast."
