This is Jabal Noor — the Mountain of Light 🌟⛰️

It is here that Prophet Muhammad ﷺ received the very first revelation of the Quran while in retreat in the Cave of Hira.

The first ayat revealed were:

96:1
Read, ˹O Prophet,˺ in the Name of your Lord Who created—

96:2
created humans from a clinging clot.

96:3
Read! And your Lord is the Most Generous,

96:4
Who taught by the pen—

96:5
taught humanity what they knew not.

At the time, there were no buildings, no city, no noise.

From this mountain, there was a direct view of the Kaaba below — a place of solitude and reflection overlooking the heart of Makkah.

After the revelation, the Prophet ﷺ descended the mountain in fear and confusion, worried about what he had experienced.

He rushed to his wife, Khadijah bint Khuwaylid (rA), who comforted him and reassured him.

THE BEAUTY OF ISLAM✨

Allah truly is sufficient for us. He will always provide in ways that are quite unexpected albeit it looking mundane. It’s miraculous in the simplest way. We were on our way to do umrah, when we encounter this akhis distributing foods on the high way. Allah (SWT) is the best provider and He will always provide. Alhamdulillah. This time Allah (SWT) provided through these akhis who were distributing food on the highway to the fasting people. They were living the prophet (SAW)’s sunnah. MashaAallah tabarakallah!!

The Prophet SAW used to double his generosity during the blessed month of ramadan. It’s very soul-stirring to see people who puts his (SAW) sunnah into action. Allahumma barik. May Allah (SWT) accept it from you brother and may He make it the reason for you to enter jannah. Allahumma ameen.🌼🤲
