10 Qualities of Those Who Return to Allahﷻ After Sinning.

Every son of Adam(عليه سلم) sins. No one is free from mistakes except the Prophets (peace be upon them). But Allahﷻ, in His infinite mercy, has left the door of repentance open until a person’s final moments or until the sun rises from the west. A believer should never despair because of their sins. Rather, they should hasten to return to Allahﷻ with sincere repentance, faith, and righteous deeds.

Allahﷻ says:

“Indeed, Allah loves those who constantly repent and loves those who purify themselves.”
(Surah Al-Baqarah 2:222)

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said:

“Every son of Adam sins, and the best of those who sin are those who repent.”
(Jamiʿ at-Tirmidhi 2499 – Hasan)

The Qualities of Those Who Return to Allahﷻ:

1. Those Who Repent Sincerely

Sincere repentance (Tawbah) means giving up the sin, feeling genuine regret, resolving never to return to it, and restoring people’s rights if they were violated. Allahﷻ explicitly says He loves those who constantly repent.

“Indeed, Allah loves those who constantly repent and loves those who purify themselves.”
(Surah Al-Baqarah 2:222)

2. Those Who Seek Allah’s Forgiveness

A believer never stops asking Allahﷻ for forgiveness, no matter how many times they fall.

“And whoever does wrong or wrongs himself but then seeks Allah’s forgiveness will find Allah Forgiving and Merciful.”
(Surah An-Nisa 4:110)

3. Those Who Feel Genuine Regret

Regret over a sin is one of the greatest signs of sincere repentance.

The Prophet ﷺ said:

“Regret is repentance.”
(Sunan Ibn Majah 4252 – Authentic)

4. Those Who Replace Sins with Good Deeds

After falling into sin, a believer increases in prayer, charity, Qur’an, and righteous deeds.

“Indeed, good deeds wipe away bad deeds.”
(Surah Hud 11:114)

5. Those Who Keep Returning to Allahﷻ

Even if a believer slips again, they should never stop repenting.

In a Hadith Qudsi, Allahﷻ says:

“My servant committed a sin… then sought forgiveness, so I forgave him.”
(Sahih Muslim 2758)

6. Those Who Strive Against Their Desires

Resisting sinful desires is among the greatest acts of worship.

“But as for the one who feared standing before his Lord and restrained himself from desires, then Paradise will surely be his home.”
(Surah An-Nazi’at 79:40–41)

7. Those Who Remember Allahﷻ in Private Until They Weep

Sincere tears shed out of fear and hope in Allahﷻ are greatly rewarded.

The Prophet ﷺ said:

“A person who remembers Allah in private and his eyes overflow with tears.”
Among the seven whom Allahﷻ will shade on the Day of Resurrection.
(Sahih al-Bukhari 660; Sahih Muslim 1031)

8. Those Who Remain Humble Before Allahﷻ

A believer does not become arrogant because of their worship but remains humble, knowing they constantly need Allah’s mercy.

“Indeed, He does not love the arrogant.”
(Surah An-Nahl 16:23)

9. Those Who Continue Doing Righteous Deeds

Past sins should never stop a believer from obeying Allahﷻ or encouraging righteousness.

“Cooperate with one another in righteousness and piety.”
(Surah Al-Ma’idah 5:2)

10. Those Who Leave the Sin Behind

The greatest success is to abandon the path of sin and replace it with faith and righteous deeds.

“Except for those who repent, believe, and do righteous deeds. For them Allah will replace their evil deeds with good deeds. And Allah is Ever-Forgiving, Most Merciful.”
(Surah Al-Furqan 25:70)

Final Reminder

No sin is too great for Allah’s mercy if a person sincerely repents before death. What destroys a person is not the sin itself, but persisting in it without repentance or losing hope in Allah’s forgiveness. Allahﷻ loves those who constantly return to Him in sincere Tawbah, and He promises forgiveness to those who repent with faith and righteous deeds.

May Allahﷻ make us among those who are few & doing for the sake of Allah's cause (in this world and in the hereafter) اللهم آمين يارب العالمين

Islam teaches us to trust Allahﷻ and tie our camel.

The Prophet ﷺ said:

“If you were to rely upon Allahﷻ with the reliance He is due, you would be given provision like the birds: They go out hungry in the morning and come back with full bellies in the evening.”
(Sunan Ibn Majah 4164)

Notice something powerful…

The birds don’t stay in their nests waiting for provision.

They trust Allahﷻ…

Then they fly.

Tawakkul is never passive.

It is faith followed by effort.

If Allahﷻ has placed a dream in your heart, don’t let fear, procrastination, or self-doubt bury it.

Make sincere du’a.

Take halal means.

Learn new skills.

Work with excellence.

Keep trusting Allah’s timing.

The Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) said: "The poor among the Muslims will enter Paradise before the rich by half a day, the length of which is like five/500 hundred years." This delay for the wealthy is not a punishment, but rather a longer period of accountability where they must answer how they earned and spent their wealth.

Specifically, Abu Hurairah reported that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "The poor Muslims will enter Paradise before the rich by half of a day, the length of which is like five hundred years." In another authentic narration recorded in Jami' at-Tirmidhi, the Prophet (ﷺ) specifically mentioned the poor Muhajirun (emigrants) entering before their wealthy counterparts.

Scholars explain that the delay for the wealthy is not necessarily a disadvantage in rank; a wealthy person who spent their resources righteously can still reach a very high level in Jannah/Paradise.

However, the poor enter earlier because they have less wealth to account for before the Divine Judgment.

This verse is a reminder that TESTS and TRIALS are a guaranteed part of life.

Allahﷻ says, "We will surely test you," meaning that every believer will face difficulties in one form or another. These tests may come as:
**Fear – anxiety, insecurity, war, or uncertainty about the future.
**Hunger – poverty, scarcity, or hardship in provision.
**Loss of wealth – financial setbacks, business losses, or unexpected expenses.
**Loss of lives – the death of loved ones or personal suffering.
**Loss of fruits – loss of blessings, opportunities, health, or the results of one's efforts.
Allahﷻ uses the phrase "with something of", which scholars explain to mean that the trials we face are only a portion of what Allahﷻ could decree, reflecting His mercy even during hardship.

وَلَنَبْلُوَنَّكُم بِشَيْءٍ مِّنَ الْخَوْفِ وَالْجُوعِ وَنَقْصٍ مِّنَ الْأَمْوَٰلِ وَالْأَنفُسِ وَالثَّمَرَٰتِ ۗ وَبَشِّرِ الصَّٰبِرِينَ
***Surah Al-Baqarah 2:155***

**The verse ends with a powerful message: "Give good tidings to those being "PATIENT" while enduring the process." Patience (sabr) in Islam does not mean never feeling pain or sadness. Rather, it means remaining steadfast, avoiding despair, continuing to obey Allahﷻ, and trusting that every trial has wisdom and reward.
This verse teaches us that tests are not necessarily a sign of Allah's anger; often, they are a means of purification, elevation, and drawing closer to Him.

Bismillah [Sa Pangalan Ng Allahﷻ]

SI THABIT AL-BUNANI – ISANG AWLIYAH [matatalik na kaibigan o mga alagad ng Allahﷻ (Kataas-taasan na Tagapaglikha)] NA NAGMAHAL SA SALAAH HIGIT SA ANUMANG BAGAY SA MUNDO

Si Thabit al-Bunani ay isa sa mga kilalang Tabi'in (sumunod sa mga Sahabah) at nakilala sa kanyang matinding pagmamahal sa salaah. Mahigit apatnapung taon siyang nagsikap na panatilihin ang kanyang pagsamba at pagdalo sa masjid.

🌙 Ang Kanyang Pagmamahal sa Salaah

May pagkakataon na sinabi ni Thabit:

> “Wala akong natagpuang kasiyahan sa mundo na higit pa sa salaah.”

Habang ang ibang tao ay naghahanap ng ligaya sa yaman, pagkain, o karangalan, si Thabit ay nakakakita ng kapayapaan kapag siya ay nakatayo sa harap ng Allahﷻ [Kataas-taasan na Tagapaglikha].

Kapag sumasapit ang gabi, siya ay tumatayo para sa tahajjud at nananalangin nang matagal. Madalas siyang umiiyak habang binibigkas ang mga talata ng Qur'an.

🕌 Isang Nakaaantig na Pangyayari

Ayon sa mga ulama, madalas niyang idalangin:

> “O Allah, kung may sinuman Kang pahihintulutang magdasal sa libingan, pahintulutan Mo rin ako.”

Pagkaraan ng kanyang pagpanaw, may mga taong nagsabing nakita nila siya sa panaginip na patuloy na nagdarasal. Bagama't ang mga panaginip ay hindi pinagbabatayan ng batas ng Islam, ipinapakita nito kung gaano siya nakilala ng mga tao dahil sa kanyang pagmamahal sa salaah.

🌿 Inspirasyon Mula sa Buhay Niya

Minahal niya ang Salaah nang higit sa mga kasiyahan ng mundo.

Ginugol niya ang maraming gabi sa pagdarasal at pag-alaala sa Allahﷻ.

Hindi siya naghahangad ng papuri mula sa tao.

Ang kanyang puso ay nakakapit sa masjid at sa Qur'an.

📖 Aral na Maaaring Baunin

Maraming tao ang naghahanap ng kapayapaan sa iba't ibang bagay, ngunit ipinakita ni Thabit al-Bunani na ang tunay na kapanatagan ay matatagpuan sa pagsamba sa Allah [Kataas-taasan na Tagapaglikha]. Kapag ang puso ay nasanay sa salaah, nagiging magaan ang mga pagsubok at mas lumalapit ang tao sa kanyang Tagapaglikha.

🤲 Isang Paalala

Sinabi ng Allah [Kataas-taasan na Tagapaglikha]:

> "Katotohanan, sa pag-alaala sa Allah ay nakakahanap ng kapanatagan ang mga puso."

(Qur'an 13:28)

🐎 A Blessing That Remains Until the End of Time 🐎

The Prophet ﷺ said:

“Good will remain tied to the foreheads of horses until the Day of Judgment.”

📚 Sahih al-Bukhari & Sahih Muslim

✨ Reflection:

Throughout history, horses have been symbols of strength, loyalty, courage, and service.

In Islam, they hold a special virtue because they were used in noble causes, journeys of sacrifice, and striving in the path of Allahﷻ.

This beautiful statement reminds us that Allahﷻ places blessings in certain things, places, and times according to His wisdom.

A horse does not know the honor Allahﷻ has given it…

Yet its mention remains preserved in the words of the Prophet ﷺ until the end of time.

💭 True goodness comes from Allahﷻ. He places barakah wherever He wills and honors whom He wills.

Just as goodness remains tied to the foreheads of horses…

A believer should strive to remain tied to goodness throughout their life until they meet Allahﷻ.

🌅 Two prayers.ماشاءالله تبارك الله

A few minutes each day.

A promise of Jannah/Paradise.

The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said:

«“Whoever prays the two cool prayers (Fajr and Asr) will enter Jannah.”»

(Sahih al-Bukhari 574)

Think about it.

The two prayers that Shaytan fights the hardest are often:

• Fajr(dawn time before sunrise)— when your bed feels warmer than your prayer mat.
• Asr(afternoon) — when the dunya keeps you busy and distracted.

Yet these are the very prayers singled out by the Prophet ﷺ.

📌 Why Fajr(dawn time before sunrise) and Asr(afternoon)?

They come at times when many people are:
• sleeping
• working
• occupied with worldly affairs

Praying them on time is a sign that Allahﷻ comes before comfort and convenience.

📌 Something beautiful

The Angels of the night and the Angels of the day gather at Fajr and Asr.

These prayers are witnessed.

These Prayers are Special.

These prayers/Salah can be the difference between heedlessness and guidance.

📌 Ask yourself

If Jannah /Paradise were behind a door that opened twice a day...

would you miss it?

Fajr(Dawn time before the sun rise) and Asr(afternoon) are among the greatest opportunities Allahﷻ has given us every single day.

Hadeeth of the day:

🔔 A small sound can carry a big reminder.

Umar ibn al-Khattab (RA) once removed bells from a girl's legs and mentioned a narration from the Prophet ﷺ regarding bells.

While scholars have differed regarding the authenticity of this specific narration, there is an authentic hadeeth in Sahih Muslim in which the Prophet ﷺ said:

«"The bell is the musical instrument of Shaytan."»

Think about that.

Islam does not only guide us in major matters.

It also teaches us to be mindful of the things we normalize in our daily lives.

📌 The deeper lesson

A believer does not ask:

«"How close can I get to the line?"»

He asks:

«"What brings me closer to Allahﷻ?"»

The Companions were careful about their actions, adornments, and habits because they wanted hearts attached to Allahﷻ ,& not distracted by worldly attractions.

📌 Something very important to bear :

Not everything popular is beneficial.

And not everything discouraged in Islam appears harmful at first glance.

A believer trusts the wisdom of Allahﷻ and His Messenger ﷴ ﷺ even when he does not fully understand every reason.

🤍 The closer a person comes to Allahﷻ, the more carefully he chooses what he allows into his life...in this world and in the hereafter.💚❤💚

🤍 Marriage Is Built on Rights and Responsibilities 🤍

The Prophetﷴ ﷺ emphasized the importance of fulfilling the rights that spouses owe one another.

He taught that a believing wife should honor her marital responsibilities, just as a believing husband is commanded to honor hers.

📚 Sunan Ibn Majah

✨ Reflection:

Islam does not view marriage as a competition of rights…

It views it as a partnership built upon:

🤍 Love
🤍 Mercy
🤍 Respect
🤍 Responsibility
🤍 Obedience to Allahﷻ

A successful marriage is not created when one spouse only demands their rights…

It flourishes when both husband and wife strive to fulfill the rights of the other for the sake of Allahﷻ.

The strongest homes are not those free from difficulties…

They are the homes where both spouses choose patience, understanding, and mutual respect.

💭 When husband and wife seek the pleasure of Allahﷻ through serving one another, their home becomes a source of peace in this world and a path to Jannah/Paradise in the next.💚❤💚
