Here is your Word for today :

Verse : Matthew 11:28

‘ _Come to Me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest_ .’

- True rest can only be found in the One Who can give you rest.
- There are so many things in life that come to rob us of the rest He has for us.
- If there is something in your life causing unrest, get rid of it.
- Let Him be your all in all and receive the rest He wants to give you.

PRAYER : Lord, I choose You and I bring You my weary and burdened heart. You are the only One Who can give me the rest my soul desires. I let go of those things that drain and weigh me down and I take hold of You and the rest You offer me. Amen.

Verse: John 10:9 (NLT)

‘ _Yes, I am the gate. Those who come in through Me will be saved. They will come and go freely and will find good pastures._ ’

- The Lord is the only pathway to all that you need and long for.
- In Him you can find safety, security, freedom and purpose for your life.
- God wants you to have the confidence that comes from being in His care.
- You are on the right path when you are following Him.

PRAYER : Lord, thank You that You are the gateway to all I need. You are my salvation, You are my source of provision and You give me the freedom that my soul so longs for. I choose You and no one else! Amen.

Verse : John 10:3

‘ _He calls His own… by name_ ’

- Your Good Shepherd knows all about you and your situation.
- He wants to show you His personal love and care for you.
- You are not anonymous to God, He knows your name.
- You are valuable and precious to your Creator and He loves you.

PRAYER: Lord, thank You for Your great care and love for me. I recognize that You are my Heavenly Father and my Good Shepherd. Thank You for calling me as Your own and for knowing me by my name. You are my good, good Father. Amen.

Verse: 2 Corinthians 4:7

‘ _Now we have this treasure in jars of clay to show that this surpassingly great power is from God and not from us_ .’

- We are like fragile clay jars containing a great treasure.
- God has placed His light within your heart and that makes you different.
- You hold a treasure that God has placed within you.
- In times of struggle, you can trust God and let His power shine through your frailty.

PRAYER: Lord, thank You for what You have planted and placed in my life. I realize that I can do all things because You have entrusted me with Your living light and Your mighty power. Amen.

‘ _As a father has compassion on his children, so the LORD has compassion on those who fear Him_ .’

- The Lord longs to show you His lovingkindness and compassion.
- He cares deeply about you and His love for you is tender and compassionate.
- Let the Lord become your priority and your first love.
- He is your loving Father and He wants to cover you and show you His mercy.

PRAYER: Lord, I love You, and I am so thankful for Your compassion and kindness towards me. Thank You for understanding my weaknesses and for always responding with compassion and mercy. My hope and my trust is in You. Amen.

Theme: A life of Prayer

Let's reflect on Luke 5:16: "But Jesus often withdrew to lonely places and prayed."

Meaning: This verse shows that Jesus, despite His busy ministry, prioritized time alone with God in prayer.

His example teaches us the importance of prayer and regular communion with God.

Reflection: How often do you intentionally withdraw from distractions to spend time in prayer?

What can you learn from Jesus’ example?

Application: Find a quiet place today where you can pray without interruptions.

Spend this time focusing solely on connecting with God, laying aside any distractions.

Amen as we meditate and practice this scripture in Christ's name I pray. Amen!!

Reflection: Are there prayers you’ve stopped praying because you haven’t seen immediate answers?

How can you renew your commitment to persistence in prayer?

Let's mediate on Luke 18:1-8: (Parable of the Persistent Widow)

"Then Jesus told his disciples a parable to show them that they should always pray and not give up."

Meaning: This parable emphasizes the power and importance of persistent prayer.

It encourages believers not to lose heart but to keep praying, trusting that God hears and responds.

Let's never give up in praying to our Supreme being (GOD).

He hears every single word from us, but sometimes you may think that God is delaying but remember that God is testing our faith and He has His perfect time for everything.

Application: Identify one area in your life where you need persistence in prayer.

Commit to praying about it daily, trusting in God’s timing and will.

Amen as we mediate on this scripture.

Reflection: What does it mean to "pray without ceasing"?

How can you incorporate prayer into your daily routine, not just during designated times?

Application: Set a reminder to pray throughout the day during meals, before meetings, or whenever you feel stressed.

Begin developing the habit of ongoing communication with God.
