On 12th April, Believers Eastern Church observed a special Sunday dedicated to the youth of the Church.

On this blessed day, the parish youth of St. Mark Believers Eastern Church led the Divine Liturgy through heartfelt chanting and service.

His Eminence also took time to pray for and encourage our youth, reminding them of their purpose and calling.

These young souls are truly a blessing to the Church, and we are grateful to have them. May the Lord continue to guide them and make them shining examples of His love. ✨

Strengthening Women and Their Families

On 10th March 2026, at Kabere Public School, CTP marked the spirit of International Women’s Day by supporting 70 vulnerable families, especially single mothers affected by disasters in Rutsiro.

Through the distribution of essential kitchen utensils, this initiative aimed to restore dignity, strengthen resilience, and support the socio-economic recovery of families. The activity was carried out in partnership with the Local Government, reaffirming our shared commitment to empowering women and uplifting communities.

Together, we continue to stand with women and their families building stronger, more resilient communities.

The Community Transformation Project (CTP) Rwanda, a child care initiative of Believers Eastern Church, has successfully launched 4 new projects in Gatsibo and Nyagatare Districts.

As part of these new beginnings, CTP organized Parents’ Introductory Meetings in both districts, which saw active participation from community members. These meetings serve as a vital platform to engage parents, share the vision of the project, and strengthen collaboration for the well-being of children, families and Communities.

Believers Eastern Church remains steadfast in its mission of Serving God and Humanity, working to uplift communities and nurture the next generation through holistic care and support.

CTP Rwanda successfully conducted a 2-day Evaluation and Planning Meeting on 9th and 10th February 2026 at the Monastery of the Benedictine Sisters in Sovu.

The meeting brought together CTP staff including Project Coordinators, Finance In-Charge, and Social Workers from Rutsiro, Bugesera, Kanombe, Huye, Musanze, Nyagatare, and Gatsibo — representing all provinces of Rwanda.

This gathering was graciously blessed with permission from His Eminence Geevarghese Mor Makariose Episcopa. The sessions were led by Fr. Simon, National Coordinator of CTP Rwanda, along with Mr. Abani (CS Coordinator – Rwanda), Dr. Fabian, and Mr. Emmanuel from the Program Department.

It was a meaningful and enriching time of learning, reflection, and evaluation — strengthening our vision to work more effectively and expand our outreach to children, families, and communities, contributing toward the transformation of lives across Rwanda through CTP.

By God’s grace, on 5th February at Rutsiro Mission Province, our Youths observed World Cancer Day through a meaningful awareness program. 15 youths joined hands with CTP staff, Evangelist brothers, and SOC sisters in unity and service.

The day began with prayer and introduction, followed by a health teaching session led by a nurse from Kivumu Health Center, educating youths about cancer awareness and the importance of early understanding and care.

It was a day of learning, faith, and compassionate action — empowering young hearts to serve communities with knowledge and love.

On 4th February 2026 in Bugesera mission province, our youths stepped beyond awareness and into love-filled service. Together with village leaders, doctors, Evangelist brothers , SOC sisters, and CTP staff, the day became a living message of care.

Visiting 19 homes, the youths didn’t just speak about health and hygiene — they cleaned living spaces, cared for wounds, listened to silent struggles, and offered prayers and comfort to the sick and vulnerable.

It was more than a program… it was compassion reaching doorsteps, kindness touching wounds, and hope being restored in hearts.

“Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.” — Galatians 6:2

By God’s grace, this year’s Vacation Kids Camp (VKC) was a beautiful success!
Hundreds of children came together to learn God’s Word, sing songs of praise, enjoy creative activities, and grow in faith and fellowship.

A heartfelt thank you to all the teachers, volunteers, and parents who made this camp a joyful and memorable time for the children.

Let’s continue to pray that the seeds of God’s Word sown in young hearts will grow and bear much fruit in the days to come.
