COP/RWANDA DEDICATES 5 CHURCH BUILDINGS.

The Church of Pentecost Int'l of Rwanda continues its activities to possess the Nation for Christ.

Among such activities are the construction of befitting places of worship for its members.

To the glory of God, 5 church buildings were dedicated by apostle Michael Agyen Brefo on behalf of the IMD, Apostle Emmanuel Gyesi-Addo between Friday 27th. to Monday 30th, August, 2021.

Among other things apostle Agyen Brefo did was to inaugurate one new Area ( Eastern Province Area), the induction into office of the Area Head, pastor Sylvrestre Ngwabije and the ordinations of 40 officers - 30 elders, 3 deacons and 7 deaconesses.

We express our profound gratitude to God for seeing us through these projects. We are highly indebted to the IMD- apostle Emmanuel Agesi-Addo, the entire missions' Board, Aps. Agyen Brefo who stood in for the IMD, LA Area, under the headship of Former Area Head, Aps Appiah Aidoo, - bought one of the plots and supported its building, We also appreciate D'ness Janet Amoanimah Aggrey of Bohyen District, Kumasi, who gave financial support toward the construction of the Rubengera Building.

Also, the entire pastorate especially the Eastern Province Area Head, PS. Sylvestre Ngwabije, the National Deacon and the entire members of COPIRWA for their immense contributions.

MISSIONS' WEEK IN FOCUS
COP/RWANDA.

Possessing the Nations through social inventions.

In furtherance to achieve the Church's VISION 2023 on Church and Socio-Economic Development, the church in Rwanda carried out some social activities to impact the community, human development and transformation of lives.

Such activities include; the establishment of schools in fives towns, (Gisenyi, Rubengera, Muhuha, Marimba, and Kinyegayege,
Girls vocational training at Byumba, in Northern Rwanda,
Building of houses for vulnerable families at Huye and Kigembe
Widows and needy family support to establish petty trading and poultry farming.

The church has also granted scholarships to 15 needy children in primary and secondary schools.

Through the MISSIONS ACTIVITIES OF THE CHURCH OF PENTECOST, God is not only saving lives for heaven but also changing lives to enjoy the Earth.

MISSIONS' WEEK IN FOCUS
COP/RWANDA

"TWO ETERNAL THINGS"

There are only two things that are eternal; "The Word of God & People. "

All other things are temporary, but God's word and the soul of every person will live eternally.

First, God's Word;

"The grass withers and the flowers fall, but the word of our God endures forever" ( Isa. 40: 8 NIV)- Isaiah the prophet wrote.

"Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away. "
( Matt. 24:35 NIV.)
-Mathew penned down the words of Jesus.

When we are in heavens of heaven with our Lord and Saviour, we will see the evidences of the word of God, we will hear the word of God again proclaim by the one of whom it speaks. -( Jesus)

Please do not think that in heaven there would be a big Bible Class, where we will sit around learning things, No, everything we need to know would be made open and clear to us, the truth of his word will unfold and we will hear, see and witness God's promises in His word fulfilled because his word is eternal.

The second one is People.

From 2 Peter 3: 10, the scripture made it clear that everything will be destroyed by fire.

Of course, the word of God and the soul of every person will live eternally. Everyone has eternal life, some will spend it with the living Lord because of their relationship with Jesus Christ , others, apart from God, in a place of eternal punishment, away from all the Bliss and blessings we will know in heaven.

Every person you talk to has eternal soul. All children, teenagers, and adults alike, your love ones and those you consider enemies.

Since everything in this world are temporary except God's word and the souls of people then, would you humbly reflect on these things;

1. Would you Invest your time in the study of God's word? It has eternal truth.

2.Would you Invest your money in the preaching and teaching of God's word? - it is an eternal investment.

3. Would you treat every person with dignity - he/ she will never cease to exist.

4 Would you invest in people and concentrate on their salvation? - they would be saved eternally.

5. As you end this Reading, where will you spend eternity? - Heaven and Hell are real.

( would you accept Jesus Christ today as your Lord and saviour if you haven't done that yet? - now is the opportune time)

Make eternal investment today, God bless you.

MISSIONS' WEEK PERSPECTIVE
THE CHURCH OF PENTECOST INT'L, RWANDA BUILDS Two Separate Houses for two vulnerable families.

As part of the church's Vision 2023 agenda to possess the nations, saving both spiritual and physical lives of people, the church in Rwanda managed from her local resources and the support from our friends of missions, put up two separate houses for very needy and vulnerable families at Huge and Kigembe ( South of Rwanda).

One family, a widow of five children, and church member of Huge assembly had a three bedroom house and the other, a family of seven, previously not church members, had a four bedroom house.

These acts of service to the Lord and humanity have won many to the Lord including the beneficiary family who were at first not Christians and their extended family members and others.

All glory to the Lord of MISSIONS.
