O God, you have been pleased to bestow upon us unceasing favors by having placed us under the special protection of the Most Blessed Virgin Mary. Grant us, your humble servants, who rejoice in honoring her today upon earth, the happiness of seeing her face to face in heaven....

Remember, O most gracious Virgin of Guadalupe, that in your heavenly apparitions on the mount of Tepeyac, you promised to show your compassion and pity towards all who, loving and trusting you, seek your help and call upon you in their necessities and afflictions. You promised to hear our supplications, to dry our tears, and to give us consolation and relief.

Never has it been known that anyone who fled to your protection, implored your help, or sought your intercession, was left unaided. Inspired by this confidence, we fly to you, O Mary, ever-Virgin Mother of the true God! Though grieving under the weight of our sins, we come to prostrate ourselves before you. God of joy and exultation,
you strengthen what is weak;
you enrich the poor
and give hope to those who live in fear.
Look upon our needs this day.

Father, prepare our hearts to celebrate your birth joyfully! We thank you for faithfully doing what you promised long ago when you sent your Son to earth so that we might have the chance to become part of your family. Let the promise of your second coming inspire us to live with hope and purpose.
As we wait for your plan to unfold, give us the patience we need. Remind us of the peace we can access when we take time to still ourselves before you and remember that you are God. We thank you that you are both sovereign and gracious.
Help us to find rest in the midst of what feels like chaos in our world. Amen.

Lord, Jesus Christ, Our Sovereign King. The beginning and end of all things. You have made Your Church to be a people that bears witness to the goodness and beauty of Your kingdom. By Your Holy Spirit, You have united us as one body, called to live as one family of God. Fill our hearts with Your grace, that we would be close to You by being close to the vulnerable and marginalized. Give us the patience to share one another’s burdens, and give us the courage to always be friends of the truth. May we remain with You always. Amen.

Grant, good Jesus, that I may live in You and for You. Protect me in the midst of danger; comfort me in my afflictions; give me health of body, assistance in my temporal needs, Your blessings on all that I do, and the grace of a holy death.

MOST HOLY IMMACULATE VIRGIN MARY, my Mother, I - the most miserable of all sinners - have recourse to you today, the Mother of my LORD JESUS CHRIST. I venerate you, O great Queen, and thank you for all the graces you have obtained for me, especially for having delivered me from hell, which I have so often deserved. I love you, O my very kind Sovereign, and for your love, I commit myself to serve you forever, and tend all my efforts to make you loved by others too. Next to your most Divine Son, I place my hope and my salvation in you!

Accept me as your servant, and receive me under your protection, O Mother of Mercies. And since you are so powerful with GOD, deliver me from all temptations or obtain for me the strength to conquer them until death.

O Mother of Perpetual Help, by the love that you have for GOD, I pray that you will always assist me, but most of all at the last moment of my life. Do not abandon me until you see me safe in heaven, occupied to bless you and to sing your mercies for all eternity. This is my HOPE.

May the prayer of Thy suppliant people, we beseech Thee, O Lord, benefit the souls of Thy departed servants and handmaids: that Thou mayest both deliver them from all their sins, and make them to be partakers of Thy redemption. Amen.
